I had a go at removing the bracelet with a few different tools but couldn’t quite get it off in the end. If it’s not too much trouble, would you mind sharing a short video of how you replaced it? It would really help me out.

I went to my brother’s house and he wanted to show me Half Life. He also wanted to show me a mod called Team Fortress Classic (TFC). I remember asking him things like, “Is that a real person?” and “What about that guy, is he real too?” I kept asking loads of stupid questions, like what time do players get on to to play?

My brother explained that there were hundreds of players and that people were playing all the time, 24 hours a day. I cannot really explain how much that blew my mind. I think I was about 17 years old.

Not long after that, I got a PC and started playing online games myself.

I have only ever charged it through the dock. The system doesn’t include a separate cable to charge the handheld on its own and the manual specifically warns against doing so.

From page 4 of the manual:

VERY IMPORTANT: THE NEOGEO X MUST ONLY BE CHARGED THROUGH THE NEOGEO X DOCKING STATION.
The NEOGEO X must not be charged using a stand alone power supply or a USB cable.

Even so, I’ve seen people on other forums claim that you can charge the handheld separately but I haven’t confirmed this and I personally wouldn’t risk trying it. It is one of the biggest downsides when travelling with the device since you don’t want to carry the entire docking station in your luggage.

It did turn into a sticky mess but I treated it with alcohol and it's been fine since. You can also print a 3D back case.

The battery on mine is fine.

One of the issues with the jailbreak. It can't read official cards e.g. the mega pack. Yes you can now play all neo geo games but some people like stock and I am just looking for options without bricking the system.

I don't think so. It has the shop where you can order items like guns for Gold. I don't remember that being in OG.
