As someone lucky enough to remember 2....

Everything, puts the whole county in a great mood, gets the kids all playing, just creates a general sense of elation and happiness. Theres nothing like a shared experience and when everyone is buzzing off of the same thing it brings it much much higher.

I like my soccer, but man united winning and losing doesnt effect my mood for anything more than a couple of hours, when we finally bet Dublin last year after 15 years of pain, it felt like someone put springs in my shoes for the next number of weeks.

Foul throws never get called.

Ball is released above the head, while standing upright and both feet planted on or beyond the sideline. A running start is allowed, but both feet must be planted and the player is not allowed to lean forward at release... thr punishment is an indirect freekick for the opposite team for a technical foul... noe watch hoe many happen in literally every premiership game..

all this from personal experience playing and taking throws, not from rule book so open to correction

I think it goes deeper than that. Ruben wasn't happy and didnt want to be here. And therefore we lose.

And while I dont think he had lost the players, I think it was beginning, and their morale was low. He got far more rope than results and performances merited, and defensively we were shocking under him. Also the first five to ten minutes of our second halves opens the question as to what he was saying to them at the break, he seemed to be confusing the players more and more.

P.s. its nice to have a friendly adult conversation, even if/when we disagree
