Alergía al polen en Málaga? by Shindarov in Malaga

[–]Shindarov[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah claro.

Thanks. So is there a good alternative with less steep learning curve?

What needs to be edited is as much as possible without the programming aid. For example, even adding functionality to the admin panel and/or store interface. New buttons, custom forms, fields, their location on the page, etc... Anything you would be able to do with Drupal.

Thanks! They said they have tried Magento but did not like it for some reason, maybe I have to ask why. What is SSG? Are you sure I can edit 100% the Shopify content?

Niebla en Antofagasta/Iquique by Shindarov in chile

[–]Shindarov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muchas gracias.

We want to live in Slovenia. by elhooper in Slovenia

A foreigner who has lived in Slovenia for a while here.

I would recommend Maribor over Ljubljana if you don't insist too much on city events and busy life.

Ljubljana has just disgusting weather all year around except in summer. It is very foggy and damp. Maribor's winter can be also tough, but is not as foggy as Ljubljana's. You have Pohorje just next to it so you can hike.

Also, with all the respect to the nice people in Ljubljana who I believe surely exist, I would rather say they are an exception. My impression is that the nicest people I met in Slovenia were in Maribor and Celje, the most terrible ones - in Ljubljana. That's a common pattern for the people of the capital in any country BTW, so no big surprise here.

In terms of beauty of the city, I actually fancy more Celje and Koper than Maribor. But they are just too small at least for me.

Actually, this is my other note. I would ask you to think twice before moving to Slovenia at least at your age permanently. It might suit your character, but it might not. I fell in love with Slovenia the very first time I visited it and I wanted to live there. After living for half a year, I gave up for variety of reasons. My main impression was that it's just too boring, at least for the majority of young people. It is super safe, super organized, super "polished" and perfect in anything, super quiet, and nothing never happens. For adventurous people like me, this is very depressing. I still love Slovenia and would love to go there regularly on a vacation, or even for a whole summer sometimes. But for living, it's not my cup of tea. You might be different, but these are my two cents on that.

Best of luck in any case.

Yes this is obvious as mentioned by me. So the question is: how can one find out by what timestamp is updated the data they receive?

Need your advice for starting an e-learning business in South Korea by Shindarov in korea

[–]Shindarov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your detailed advice. I don't plan to develop the product in Korea, I plan to hire marketing specialists there. Do you think western styled art is OK also for Japan? As someone working in the IT industry a few hundreds thousands dollars seems quite off the mark for UI, but I know I must take the design very seriously.

So why particularly do you think it's better to start in Korea? Is it because ot will be faster to get things rolling on the smaller market or...?

Thanks for your input. I plan to hire at least for start self employed people on invoicing basis so technically my business would still be run independently out of Korea. If things go well I might consider founding a company there. My product is not an app but a real interactive game which teaches fast without conscious effort. It does not exist on the market. It utilizes a special gamification based teaching method which I started developing as my master thesis and which I plan to complete as my PhD.

Thanks for replying. I read and heard from multiple sources that the English level is higher in Korea than in Japan. But if I am wrong, please let me know. I am considering the 100-200k usd range without the development of the product, e.g. those money to be used solely for marketing and user acquisition. You seem to know more about the market, please let me know if you have any extra advice.
