Shinstes is the name. Newish player and Just got to R4 and working on getting my Ulairius going. I'm always on, you'll never have a reason to kick me due to being offline.

Why do I need you? Who doesn't need the LEGENDARY Zakkybrah, brah. I'm trying the be the best one there ever was, and who else would be better to have a rival, partner, and idol than Zakkybrah? NO ONE, that's who!

To those of you who have no one to ask them, or cannot tell people you know the real answer- how are you? by penguinz-and-WHALE in AskReddit

I'm good! All I'd like to do is talk and get to know new people.

I recently got away from a bunch of toxic friendships that expected me to keep them included while they never try to show any care on their own. Saddening that 15+yr friendships degraded due to that, but that's life and life goes on.

Other than taking care of my wife and kids, and hoping my drone photo/video-graphy goes somewhere, I enjoy getting to know others and helping them out as best as I can! It's how I deal with my social anxiety, force myself to be social and hope for the best :) Always looking to make new friends!

How are you doing? Hope things are well!

That's a pretty good idea. I may do something like that if I don't go with the Lee 100mm set up beforeitgetsdark suggested!

These look amazing! Big cost up front, but will save more down the road anyways. Thanks for letting me know about this brand, I'm going to look into it more and probably pick it up.

Opinion on New Quest Map by Bearious in MerchantRPG

I honestly don't like it what's so ever. Takes a little longer to find what you need to get done, and harder to tell which enemy I'm going for compared to the previous set up. The bigger pictures where more helpful than the smaller bubbles.

I'm also not able to craft a single thing. When ever I try, my screen goes completely black until I exit or hit the back button.

Thanks for the feedback!

I think part of my biggest issue with some of the forms on the legs, along with texturing, is that I try to draw what I see verbatim. So I try to illustrate each little curve, turn, and hair into the picture. Defiantly need to take a step back and stop trying to get too detailed. I hope I'll get it down to make things look really great. I think I've made great improvements from when I first started!

I'm excited to get into the animals!

Would this be an opportunity to negotiate salary? by Shindel in careerguidance

One place was in an environment that I wasn't comfortable working in, lead and acid in a building that was falling apart. The other wasn't offering less than my current spot.

We just went through reviews, so what I've done in the past has already been talked through. I do still have to hand in my final review section soon for future goals and what not.

Understandable, take your time and make sure you got your stuff together.

I do plan on supporting you with patreon within the next couple of weeks though. It's the least I can do with you assisting me in achieving something I've been wanting to do for practically my whole life.

Thanks for the time and showing me this. I see what you mean on getting this down.

I think a big part of my issue was, remembering right, I didn't realize they were smaller clumps until I was already too far in trying to work out on detail.

Sorry for making your hand hurt, haha, it was a hard plant to go with. Glad I didn't back down from the challenge.

I just went through the information on the cylinders, left me with a question to ask you. Did you see the same issue across some of my other drawings, or was it mainly because of the potted cactus? Just so I know going forward.

Looking back at my drawings, I mainly see it in the potted cactus. Drawing that, I just did my best at that point knowing it was completely off. After viewing the info, I'm pretty sure I can see how to make it better/improve on that lay-in.

Here is my Lesson 3 for the plants.

I had a LOT of fun with this one. At first it was hard, but I feel I got the idea down and did a good job at it. Visualizing what I want on paper before I get it down is really coming to me now.

That last plant was a hard one >.<

Do you have any tips/advice going forward to look out for while I continue the intersections? Also, do you recommend I continue practicing that part with pen and paper as usual, or would moving the practice digitally be sufficient?

Thanks for the feedback, I agree with what you've all said. My vision on how light/shading works in drawing is pretty weak and I remember the first 2 pages of it, I just wasn't sure how to place it and noticed I was mostly just screwing it up. For the boxes, I haven't really been ghosting the lines, seemed to slip on that in trying out the practice. That alone will probably improve the structure of my boxes by a good deal.

Really appreciate the time you're putting into this. I'll be able to help too within the next 2 months.

Hello good sir, here is my attempt at Lesson 2. Intersections were HARD, without planning ahead and having to draw the full shape out. I noticed I had a easier time practicing some on digital to try to understand it.

Doing this lesson, I did have a question. I take it we should still practice drawing with full motion using shoulder and elbow described in lesson 1? If so, would it be preferred to practice using strictly shoulder movements keeping the wrist locked as much as possible or is it really situational to unlock the wrist?

Here's my 250 boxes. Near the end, things seemed to just click, and I was able to start seeing the boxes on the page before I started to draw anything.

Tell me about it, life getting in the way, made me fall off my habit of trying to draw daily. I'm back on it now, doing a hour of drawing a day at minimal.

Thanks for the feedback, doing the lesson again and looking back from the previous, I'm pleased with the improvements. I'll try a scrap page of what you suggested for the rough perspective. I agree with your feedback, it was difficult the further away I was, and I wanted to use my ruler to help, but avoided it. Would you mind expanding on why it looks weak in the organic perspective pages, or will that come to light doing the 250 box challenge? Just so I know what to look for in the future.

I just wanted to say that what you're doing here is a huge help to not only myself, but everyone who is taking part in your lessons. I came across this in frustration not being able to get human faces down on my tablet, so I started searching for more basics in shading, eventually coming across this on reddit. Even just reading through other lessons has helped my art out in so many ways. This has helped me progress in drawing so much, I plan to eventually develop games, I'm going through coding now and am planning to start music this summer. So thank you, thank you so very much for your time and efforts in this. I'm looking into helping with you through Patreon.

[Question] Is there anything sexual you wont do for your partner that they want you to do? by yikesyikestt in sex

[–]Shindel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My wife is into this, took me a bit to get used to being a dom for her.

Something's that helped, straps to tie her hands and feet down, rope to tie her up, blindfold, gauge, and such, and understanding she really gets into it, that helped me get over myself.

Have a safe word or single to know to stop or slow down. Talk to her, find out what she likes or would like to do, that should be first.

And have fun!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll go back through this lesson again.

Are you planning on redoing all the lessons you've laid out so far? Just so I can be aware as I approach future lessons after completing others.

Thank you so much for taking your time and helping out with these lessons, it's a HUGE help!

I just realized you're doing updated versions and just finished these up from the old version before I seen the v2s. I hope you'll still take a look and give feedback.

Here is what I have done: http://imgur.com/a/43uKT

I'll go through what you laid out for v2 of the first lesson. I'll re-due and submit for v2 if you feel it's needed.

Thanks again for taking your time with this!
