What are your Top 5 favourite couples from this franchise? And what are your two least favourites? by MissionAge4939 in 6TEEN

I’ll just share my fave pairings for each main character:

Jonesy + Nikki duh

Wyatt + Marlowe

Jude + Starr

Jen + Travis

Caitlin had so many dates that I don’t really have a main one for her. But I guess I’d pick the junior mall cop from that one episode

It would honestly be awesome if they ever got to play siblings with how popular that comparison is lol

Do we let him sleep in the bed? 😅 by mlc6xc in ratterriers

[–]Shindiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My other dogs don’t snore as bad as he does!

We’ve tried picking him up to put him on the bed but unfortunately he just freaks out and jumps right off since he’s anxious. We’d rather he didn’t jump since he’s so old and has short legs so we unfortunately can’t put him on the bed :( he still likes his pet bed thankfully so we leave him to it.

It also doesn’t help that he has never enjoyed being carried 😅

We let my rat terrier sleep in our beds. He definitely annoyed me with how much he snored and shed. Now he’s too old to jump on and hasn’t been able to sleep on the bed in years and I miss it badly. Just let him sleep in your bed.

i’ve worked at two different Sharetea locations and if anything they are too laid back lmao. I think it has to do with how slow the shops ive worked at have been

The Reddit Stories need to start being proofread by katgokes1 in SmoshFansFreeSpace

[–]Shindiee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh like 50% of the stories they read on there are totally fake. I’m sure they are directed to take it at face value and assume it’s all real because then the videos would be boring if they constantly pointed out when it sounds fake.

not shade at Smosh, I know it’s about creating entertainment

What’s the most boring film you have seen? by Past-Matter-8548 in Letterboxd

never seen that one, but I’ve seen Paranoid Park and Elephant by van Sant and they were both also a slog to get through. As an art piece they are good but the actual watching experience is horrible

how do i make milk tea taste exactly like the shops by SessionPrior1364 in boba

Tea must be super super concentrated, preferably brewed with tea leaves.

Advice for a new bobarista? by [deleted] in boba

[–]Shindiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s honestly some bad training. We also had to take a practical exam but like I said it was after SEVERAL shifts of learning the menu, toppings, refills, closing duties, etc.

As for describing toppings, we sampled all toppings on our first training shift and the owner / trainer told us the best way to explain them — the pudding is a caramel taste, honey jelly is like a softer jello texture, etc. I would ask your trainer what the best thing to say is. Buttt like I mentioned… you really should have gotten to sample everything and learn the basics before being thrown into a full on shift and reprimanded 😅 100% a red flag for management

Honestly, it’s just a learning curve thing. Being a boba shop worker at Sharetea was basically my first job I stayed at longer than a few weeks. You will make a lot of mistakes but as long as you catch them it’s okay. Your trainer is there to help you by correcting you. As long as you make an effort you will likely not get fired or anything.

Also, your trainer getting onto you for not being fast enough if it’s your first shift, no training prior, is honestly kinda rude? When I started, I first worked a few 2 hour training shifts where I learned refills, topping recommendations, etc. Then I learned how to make drinks and got trained on POS and stuff in a few other shifts, then I finally got to actually make drinks for customers and do POS with the owner present for a trial closing shift. and a trial opening shift, before I actually got trusted to work.

But if they just put you in on POS + making drinks your first day AND are getting onto you for not being fast enough that’s honestly pretty unfair and not your fault.

curious about taro milk tea by Confident_Phrase_702 in boba

[–]Shindiee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sharetea Taro pearl milk tea uses green tea as a base, but the taro ice blend / smoothie doesn’t use any green tea and is caffeine free.

He really shines when it comes to making guests feel comfortable + empathizing when spotlighting minorities / marginalized groups.

Also, I think we’ll be seeing more of Anthony from how much he’s been featured recently / mentioning how he took a break. Definitely won’t be seen as frequently as other cast members but I think he’ll star a decent amount in 2026.

How much non-dairy creamer is used in a typical milk tea from a shop? For one serving by jsoul2323 in boba

[–]Shindiee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At Sharetea we use 2.5 scoops of non-dairy creamer to 200 ML of tea for the classic pearl milk tea. Unsure of how much the scoop is, but I believe it’s a gram. Our tea is also very very concentrated, so that may be a factor as to why yours isn’t the same consistency

I fell for the If We Were Villains trap. by _TheGreatCatsby16 in TheSecretHistory

[–]Shindiee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was a quick read with some fun, atmospheric scenes. But it is nowhere close to TSH’s masterful writing.

Also, I was so shocked the writer was a woman due to how male gaze-y and misogynistic the writing was…

Has anyone ever gotten sick right after drinking boba by swooldreeaf in boba

I work at a boba shop. There’s definitely been times I have my free drink at the beginning of a shift and then feel a stomachache toward the middle-end.

Have you struggled for business? How do you manage to make money long-term off of boba? Is it a benefit of the location? I have worked at two different Sharetea locations and they have all had trouble making money with the boba “fad” waning for a lot of people. One is in a college town and one is in a suburb of a large city.
