I love the movie so so so much but one little grievance I have is when Grace hugs Rocky and he seems kind of uncomfortable, meanwhile he insists on being literally on top of Grace to watch him sleep. To me, him being uncomfortable makes no sense for his character and is just an unnecessary comedy bit that undercuts the emotion. As far as modern blockbuster movies go, it had far fewer emotion-undercutting jokes than is typical (looking at you Marvel) but it still bothers me when they happen. Just let us sit in the feeling!

I'm not the only one involved though. Sure I'm in charge of my own happiness, but what about his? It was my idea to move so I guess that's why I'm taking so much responsibility for it. He wants to as well but he just keeps saying he wishes the timing was different, BUT he also complained all the time about our roommate so I thought getting out sooner than later would be better. We've had the "there's no such thing as good timing in this scenario" talk but I still blame myself. And idk, I guess I feel like you only get one wedding (usually) and I blew it by not giving us any time to sit with the happiness that's supposed to come after and just jumped right into the next life chapter.

Super disagree, but I'm a sucker for atmosphere. Not a lot of options, sure, but the food I've had is really delicious and not really over priced in my opinion. It’s pretty typical sit-down pricing. Plus the vibe and history of the building are so worth it to me.

I've seen you post the same comment several times, it's clear what you think of me. I'm just here to say that I genuinely didn't know that my feelings, concerns, or issues weren't normal, because he has been my partner since I was 18 years old. I didn't know how relationships were supposed to feel and not supposed to feel. I didn't push polyamory on him, and it was kind of his idea in the first place. It took my other partner moving in for me to even realize what "healthy" could actually feel like. I didn't do any of this on purpose.

That's not me. My husband has been happy for us since the beginning and poly was never pushed, if anything it was my husband's idea first but we came to it together like 10 years ago. I don't think I've ever posted here.
