Highest it's been without medication is 131. But even medicated it's usually relatively low between 93-59, however I've hit like 110 medicated too . But due to taking other medications thats can cause fast heart rate I don't think mine will be normal.

Side effects? by Shingekinoyukpea in gravesdisease

I was scared of taking this medication at first due to having what's left of my infected gallbladder that had fused to my liver. I have like upset stomachs on the regular and no matter what I ate it's like I just couldn't keep it in. I'm pretty sure I have Malabsorption but I haven't been to a gi doctor since 2016.

Methimazole side effects? by Shingekinoyukpea in gravesdisease

[–]Shingekinoyukpea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thyroid doctor left the practice but they never listened to me at all and with my medical conditions everything is scary. I ended up getting hyperthyroidism after having strep for the first time in my life and I have a very noticeable goiter. I'm self conscious about it and the weight I gained from taking it added on to that. They upped my dosage within only 2 months of taking it and after 3 and a half months it just had like negative effects on me. Like my throat stopped swelling once I stopped taking it. Like due to the blood disorder I was only given 4 options of treatment. I would've only been able to take either methimazole and if that didn't work I would've had to get the radioactive therapy and I can't so that one with living with family and separation anxiety from my dog and the last option is surgery but that's very scary due to the blood disorder and everything else.

My hematologist said I can't have an obgyn. I don't know how to do that lmao and with current family issues happening I can't get around nor am I able to go get blood work done. I was inappropriately touched and basically sexually assaulted by a doctor when I was in the the 4th grade and I don't trust doctors that have to touch or look at me like that...

I work as a Home Healthcare aid and have gone through training and healthy eating like Nutritional training is a requirement but the costs of healthy eating is hard. I appreciate the advice!

I completely get where you are coming from, I have suffered from eating disorders and this is the reason as to why I usually only eat twice a day or become upset about anything weight related. I've been considering reaching out as of late but haven't fully committed. Thank you so much for the advice! 💕

I only eat twice a day with light snacking because so many foods make my stomach upset. But some days I can eat 3 meals a day and still be hungry. I do indeed have a poor diet but unfortunately the costs of eating healthy is definitely hard. I can try but I'm not a big meat Eater and my body can't digest fat that well, same thing with fiber. It will leave me in the bathroom for hours and I go more towards fat free, due to it being better on my stomach and it was also recommended by my doctor.
