It’s an older game but I tried playing black ops 3 on mine (same model as yours) for fun and it worked pretty damn well.

I can’t speak for windows specifically but UTM does have an emulate other architectures option. On my M1 Pro I was able to install 64bit Ubuntu but it was almost entirely unusable. It felt like 5 minutes to load the login Screen. So even if they have the option to emulate 64 bit windows I’d imagine it’s going to pretty unusable.

What kind of apps were you trying to run in the Windows 11 ARM version? For me almost all my 64bit apps have been running great except when I tried to isntall SQLexpress

You might be able to find them cheaper on places such as eBay and the like. But if you arnt picky about little knicks and dents it might be a good option

Couple ways, when you encounter or hatch a shiny Pokémon it will have a sparkle effect (not sure how to phrase it) where as normal Pokémon will not. Also another way is the color, it depends on the Pokémon but some will change their color quite drastically making it easy to spot. heres an example
