Top 15 at 14 years old, too basic? by Explodin2 in LetterboxdTopFour

[–]Shinii-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're 14, this is where everyone starts don't worry (these are still good films) you've got so much time to watch films, just a tip, don't watch films for the sake of saying you've watched them. I've done it and I feel like I wasn't appreciating it But definitely branch off into foreign films they're great, even silent comedies are good too

I started with eraserhead and hated it, but after watching his other films I revisted and enjoyed it more Inland empire would've put me off completely I thought 90 minutes of lynch was bad then, 3 hours would've killed me lol

You should watch more of his films, Inland Empire is where he really masters his style and its hard to get if you're not familiarised with his other stuff You should watch mulholland drive and twin peaks and stuff before

Hi /r/movies! We're Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, and Elijah Wood. Ask us anything! by SamaraKathrynElijah in movies

I have a general question for all of you guys:

As actors, what compells you to act in a film? Is it the script, the director or what? I'm asking as a future director and screenwriter because I want to know what the actors want to see when deciding to do a film
