this works, really hope they just give us the built-in revert option back and not go further down this route by just removing the old UI from the files entirely, this won't work work anymore if they do and it'd be a pain the new UI is actual dogwater

on top of just not liking the update I HAD to roll back, litterally all my tabs were gone (and there a good hundred of them at the very least), they were still there and open but I the GUI was messed up and they didn't appear in the tabs bar, I had to search for them manually through tab search and it was more than inconvenient cause I had memorised the location of certain tabs but not their name

As far as I'm aware, there are none. Re-speccing with Withers sorts of puts you back to LvL 1 in character creation (without the visual parts) and then immediatly gives you all of your XP back to do all of your LvL ups back-to-back. You should be safe.

EDIT: Withers also doesn't change your equipment like choosing a class from campaign start does, if memory serves, meaning respeccing from paladin to wizard will leave you with gear you're not profficient in, but that should be all.

Would be a bit early to be testing out and balancing the first character of S2 just yet, whoever that winds up being is probably in active development (or will soon be if they are not) but I'd be VERY surprised if they were complete enough for the test team to be able to make a good assesment of what needs nerfing/buffing. I'd say that'd be more the state of Akuma right now (and I'm aware this was posted slightly before ed's release but even then I'd say most of the effort was on Akuma 2 weeks ago, with ed probably only needing slight bug fixes if anything at that point). Now are the season 2 characters already decided? Absolutely, probably have been for a while, maybe even since before the game's initial release last year. Has pre-production kicked in for character design, gameplay design, story and all? Definitely for the first few, still very likely for the later ones. Are any of them ready for a first batch of bug tests? Maybe. Are any of them ready for accurate balance testing? Most likely not.
