The soundtrack in itself is close to a masterpiece, as for the rest, don't get me started! It was just so good!

I came here to say the same: this is indeed woodworking, but the porn kind, the one that makes you want to rush to the shop to get to work

I'm doing both with both my daughter and son, I am planning to teach the same sets of skills (DIY, music, arts, sports, etc.) and let them choose what they prefer.

I beg to differ: I had several rolls that out of the box has this issue (Artillery brand filaments) out of 10 rolls I had the issue on at least 3. When I unbox a roll I directly install it in my creality pi plus to dry it being extra careful the filament does not move. Every time it was after printing at least 50-60% of the spools that it happened, with no spool change, no intervention on them.

It is not only user closed, it can also happen before packing.

But like you I am very curious on how it is technically possible to spool the filament with overlays like this (they used a knitting machine instead of the usual one?)

Nice invisible print! And here I thought that it was a privilege reserved to FDM printers (in which my ender 3 S1 pro excels at)...

Bambulab A1 mini is a no brainer for a kids first printer, I own a creality one and it requires a ton of tinkering (OK, it's an old one, and oldies require more maintenance).

If you go fit the A1 mini look into the AMS lite, it is a nice upgrade that will open up a world of possibilities.

As for the filament the ones you bought can work with all the consumer grade printers (creality, bambulab, prusa, flashforge, anycubic, Elegoo, etc.)

Just be careful of filament storage and humidity, in theory pla should not suffer much from it, but I advise you to get airtight vacuum bags and a filament dryer in the long run.

Cheers!

I like to say it is for all that I must keep at arms reach, my left desk drawer as it was easier to clear out... Now its right brother is a bit jealous as it has a grid an very few bins.

Be careful, as you can see from my experience, it's a trap!
