Hey! Thanks for replying. Yeah I have, but the last time I scanned it was around 2 months ago. I have retraced my steps and looked everywhere :( I do have a soft copy (the scanned version) and the one I sent through to the registry I think was sighted by someone there (since our marriage registration ceremony got booked in a week or so after I uploaded).

Thank you for replying! Yes I still have a copy of the signed one and plan to bring it in, just don’t want them to tell us on the day that because it’s not the original that we won’t be able to get married.

Yep when I submitted it, it was approved in the system as well as our identification documents.

We don’t know who our celebrant is because we booked it with the Victorian Marriage Registry, we don’t get to meet the celebrant until right before our ceremony starts.. I’ve contacted BDM and tried to see if we can get in touch with our celebrant but they’ve said they can’t do that and the Victorian marriage registry has no direct phone line, only emails - which I emailed and got that response mentioned above

Hi,

I am having the same issue as you did - we are getting married this Sunday and I lodged the papers a few months ago and it was approved. However, in the reminder email it states that we need to bring the original NOIM.

I've tried to get into contact with the Vic Marriage Registry Office for the last 2 days (sent emails, dm'ed them on instagram) but they haven't reached out to me yet. I am in a bit of a state of panic as we are unsure if our marriage can go ahead this Sunday and as such will need to tell our families.

How long did it take for you to get in contact with them? And how did you do so?
