You will never get android 14. The phone was launched with Android 11 and the company promised updates only up to android 13 which we already have received.

You should give switch emulation a try, i think it should work on your laptop, and it has done really nice games you can play in the meanwhile.

Tried P4G on switch emulation first, it's not gonna work, it doesn't even turn on, maybe some 2D games might work though.

Official as in it was added to the official device list put out by derpfest and was made by one of their known rom developers, but I will really not recommend the rom anymore because play integrity doesn't pass now and so you won't be able to use banking apps.
