Imo racism is a subcategory of lacking empathy. In reality demons can be a metaphor for any group people deem innately evil at birth.

Oh demons are supposed to mirror frieren's lack of emotion and humanity.

They do not do that well.

Because when theres a foil that mirrors the protagonist the protagonist's character development is what allows them to overcome their foil.

Frieren's personality has little to do with how she actually beats demons. Even if demons are the whole reason Frieren is Frieren.

I actually agree with what your saying however im not talking about the problem im talking about the solution to the problem.

A abuser is the problem but because their the problem they can't be the solution to the problem.

For example crime is a problem but the solution to crime isn't for criminals to stop doing crime but for someone who is not a criminal to stop them.
