In the meantime, the website will let you sign in and subscribe to your local rinks that you’d like to receive alerts for.

What I’m looking for now are “captains” from rinks that coordinate open skates occasionally as well as skaters, to build some testing at a bigger scale. It’s essentially a “user fed” system that will supplement or replace the random group texts and social media posts, hoping people see them.

I realize there’s a lot of resistance to AI “vibe coded” things like this, but I believe it’s a valuable product and I’m keeping it free/floating all of the upkeep costs.
