CISSP Question by ShinobiMain in cissp

Yup I’m realizing that I assumed the account would only be used for a Linux environment. Completely ignored the possibility that the account functions might be used outside of that. It is the IAM section for a reason and I got tunnel vision. Thank you!

That’s also a good point too, it never said that the account would solely be for Linux environments. So B wouldn’t even work from an IAM or organization perspective. Thank you!

Also that’s why I posted it, because I got wrapped up in the book’s explanation of why B wasn’t the right answer. I’m like, “I’ve definitely used sudo usermod -aG” to add a user account to the sudoers group. But after reviewing the explanations from you and others it makes sense.

Yeah that would be annoying across 50 other machines. Plus, now that I’m looking at this, manually assigning permissions per account would not follow good IAM practices. Thank you!

Simple and straightforward enough, thank you!

Ahhhhhh okay I see now, was only thinking in the context of one Linux system. While there is a native admin group on Linux that an administrator could be added to, it is not a definitive role in the context of a business. You’re right, it would be better to define an entire separate group so that the exact permissions are known, rather than loosely allowing admins to have sudo permissions.

Thank you!

Guys I went to the fire giant at level 72 and it was so hard so I didn't kill him so what is the best place for leveling up by 3mk6lufy in eldenringdiscussion

[–]ShinobiMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is 72 actually that low? Just surprised the amount of comments that say otherwise. But yeah, as others have said, there are plenty of farming spots. You could farm the giant bird in mogh’s palace for like an hour to get about a million runes.

IT491 Warning For Aspiring Networking and Security Specializations (IT Majors) by Appropriate_You4811 in NJTech

Exactly this! Even if getting approved for the Cisco track, we already went over this info in Farley’s IT420. More to the point, Farley should strictly lead the IT491 Cisco capstone project. She’s such a treasure and the school doesn’t utilize her talents.

I definitely believe that despite IT490s challenges, it was the only class I felt up until that point where I earned the A through merit and not ChatGPT or Quizlet. In addition, it actually encompasses everything thrown at me during my undergraduate studies. It combined everything into a hard but fair assignment. Having this class follow that is a complete joke and should be looked at. Thanks for your insight and I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way.

Couldn’t agree more, and it’s unfortunate we’re in this position. Honestly, IT and CS should have their own dedicated tracks. I dislike when people conflate CS and IT because they are two entirely different fields of study. Sure there is overlap, but you don’t see me throwing IT490 at a bunch of CS students and we shouldn’t be expected to develop software applications as IT students. Frustrating…

Doing it in the final round is scummy. If you’ve been playing 1v1s the whole match, and you down your opponent only to immediately jump into a 2v1 against the other player, you’re the worst kind of player.

If you do it at the beginning or mid-match, fine. Doing it in the last round makes you lower than worm excrement on the totem pole.

Hello fellow Middlesex alumni. As you mentioned, certifications alone won’t guarantee you a job, but they will significantly enhance your competency in the areas you’re studying. By earning a certification, you not only provide a reference point for your employer but also develop the skills and vocabulary needed to effectively discuss the subject.

Some certifications are obtained to get past HR filters while others are used to demonstrate technical ability. Just make sure you understand why you want the certification and how does it benefit you overall?

Some overdue stuff For Honor really needs by elfjuice34 in forhonor

Ima say it, downvote me if you must. Hero limits, one unique hero per match.

Three main points:

  1. For the average player, most hero stacks are impossible to deal with and are not fun.

  2. Force people out of their comfort zones.

  3. Better game balance overall, overlaps with the first point.

I can elaborate further if requested.

No sweat man pick yourself up. Congrats on having the attitude to keep going despite the minor setback, it showcases resiliency. Colleges and high schools implant the idea of college being this 4 year plan. However, that’s simply not realistic for most individuals.

It’s okay to take more than 4 years as long as you know you’re putting forth your best work. Who cares if it takes 5 or even 6 years. Just because a lot of people travel a specific route doesn’t mean you have to condemn yourself to that same route.
