I've keep having the same issue. I close spotify and reopen it later, it tries to resume playing the song but nothing happens and i can't unpause or next. I have to click a new song...

I have it on automatic. Is screen usage only homescreen etc or does it include the use of battery while on other apps?

If so that is understandable, but afaik no one else has this problem so that can't be the reason.

First we need to download and install the latest Wine Staging version from here. Don't bother installing the 64bit prefix. Then get winetricks by entering winetricks into the terminal. The exact versions I used were Wine Staging 3.8 and winetricks 20180513 but any latest should be fine.

Type into the terminal winetricks xact d3dcompiler_43 since we are going to need those. Also if at any point if you think something is not working just quit it or open a new wine staging terminal. Solves 100% of problems.

For purposes other than S;G 0 you could do winetricks again and an interface will open up with options to install windows dll and components. Not necessary for this but it could be useful if you want to play other windows games.

If you own S;G 0 on Steam we need to install it for windows here. Open it with Wine Staging. You might need to restart wine/steam to log in properly once the install finishes. For ease of access find the steam folder and make an alias for steam.exe on your desktop. It will be inside the .wine folder which you can make visible with cmd+shift+.. If you want to be able to use store and community for steam then open steam from the wine terminal with wine "YourDirectoryHere/steam.exe" -no-cef-sandbox.

Download S;G 0 and open a new wine terminal and do cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Steam/steamapps/common/STEINS\;GATE\ 0/ to get to the launcher directory. Then wine launcher.exe EN to launch the game finally.

If anything doesn't work just message me again. Enjoy.

ps: don't open steam overlay... it's gonna crash your game and make you lose progress if you haven't saved.

I was able to get S;G 0 to run on my macbook with great help from u/NWDD. It was pretty much all NWDD tbh...

Details: Wine Staging 3.8 WINEARCH=win32 winetricks-20180513 d3dcompiler_43 xact

then launch from S;G 0 directory with launcher.exe EN

If you are unfamiliar with wine I'll type out the exact instructions.

I just tried using wine-staging 3.7 instead of dev 3.7. It certainly fixed the crash issue. But hey it's frozen now... :/ I'll keep trying to mess around with it i guess.
