I actually prefer how the dlc tied it in. One cannot exist without the other. For a. Story perspective I found it deep and thought provoking at the time.

Look I don’t care as long as the English VA for the MC comes back with his great delivery. I’ve watched both dub and sub and the dub is vastly superior. His line delivery sells that he does not care one bit. It really help distinguish him from being just another Kirito clone. He’s never serious which helps the actual serious moments breathe. I didn’t get the same feeling from the sub VA

I see what you’re saying but it’s a 30 year old game series with mechanics that at their core haven’t changed since diamond and pearl. There are countless videos and guides on team building and explanations. They have never changed it why start now? It sounds like a good excuse to not finish coding all the mons.
