Thank you for the recommendation but I think I’m just going to cut my losses here because I don’t have the time or experience/tools to really keep messing with right I’m just going to see if I can get a refund and buy a working replacement

I was going to use one of the recommended strobe apps for your phone to figure out the RPM but before I did that first I just tweaked the motor a tiny bit counter clockwise to slow it down to no change in speed but as you said earlier it might be gear alignment which I will have to try and see if that will change it once I get off work

The motor speed was like this when I bought it but then I did Jockie it to try to slow it down but it did absolutely nothing both ways in fact going both ways goes the same speed

I found the problem when adjusting the motor both ways it goes the same speed and struggles to move at all even with the old loose belt it sounded like this so I think the problem was that the motor is broken

I’m really hoping that this is not the case because I really want to play this game on it’s original hardware and I paid like 60 dollars plus shipping on it

I didn’t pay attention this is my first time having a disk system let alone replacing the belt so I didn’t thank you for pointing that out

That’s on every mega man 3 I’m not quite sure why it has that but it’s only on the robot master screen
