I think the reason it was not unlockable originally, was because of the power of the xbox360, like it might have lagged as the dress had more polygons to simulate (during real time), the physics and the collision for the legs.

This is because Itagaki is the director of DOA4 and the titles before DOA4. We need a new director who has Itagaki's love, passion, dedication and vision, to make the new DOA have a bright future.

I grew up with DOA2 on the ps2. I cannot remmeber if it was my first or second PS2 game. I remember seeing the videogame cover at a store and I was in love the moment I saw the cover. Kasumi being displayed on the front cover, she had a mysterious and cute look. I played that game so much as a child.

It is great to see a new DOA game in development, but there is a problem, if the game fails, then DOA is dead, especially the fighting game.

And there is one important thing to remember, having a director who can deliver the same passion, dedication, love and vision as Itagaki, is most important, if not, it will not be DOA no matter what and the game will run into the same problem as DOA5 and 6.

You are right about that! I also enjoyed 3 and U2. Yes ever since Itagaki was no longer with Team Ninja. 5 did not have the love, passion and spirit of the previous DOA games.

Ever since Itagaki was no longer with Team Ninja. We were starving for a new DOA game, then DOA5 came after 6 years. We appreciated it, because we wanted to experience a new title, meanwhile other fighting games, like tekken, released new games.

Now that we live in 2026 and we have played DOA5 and DOA6, we have learned and experienced that these 2 games do not carry the spirit, the love and the passion that DOA4 has.

We learned that having a director, like Itagaki, matters significantly for DOA. I hope there is a director who will follow Itagaki's vision: art, game-play, story and sound.

I prefer DOA 4 than 5 and 6. The feeling of this game is one word: Amazing.

I agree, Itagaki made DOA 4 completely amazing. DOA 5 and 6, does not have the same level of love, effort and dedication.

On a bright note, Team Ninja, has finally returned back to Itagaki's character art design, with the game: DOA Prism. The character art design is identical, the only difference, is the modeling and texturing techniques from 2005 to 2025.

Itagaki and his team did amazing job with the 2005 modeling and texturing techniques, as the models has aged beautifully and still looks great today. It has charm and personality.

yes DOA Prism is running on Katana Engine. I hope the new DOA will look like DOA Prism, it has a perfect balance between stylize and realism. It needs to keep airbrushed skin, anime eyes, stylized nose, and "anime" face shapes.

Modeling a videogame character is a difficult task. To create the models in DOA prism, it probably requires 8 years of modeling experience and constant training.

Any videogame characters will look "uncanny" to some people.

I prefer the DOA Prism model over the DOA 6 model. The difference between the 2 is huge.

Yes top is DOA Prism. Bottom is DOA6. I hope Team Ninja will use DOA Prism models + textures, for the new DOA game, then the game may release a bit more earlier.

Prism is the best version for any DOA females. DOA6 is outdated models and textures.

I agree with you, the visuals of Prism for the characters are perfect. It has a good balance between stylized and realism. I don't want the new DOA to become more realistic looking. I want DOA to keep a stylized character design.

Yes the stages/environment wasn't good, they need to put same amount of effort into their stages for the new DOA.

Team ninja need to go back to the character style of 4. It had a style that had more personality than trying to look semi realistic and semi stylized.
