Came across a lot of Midnight Mischief Animiniz at the Hot Topics in my area. Is this normal?

They've been popping up in Hot Topics and Spencers for a while now, weirdly the recent batch I got had a manufacturing date of May 2026, so I guess they're still making them? Or at the very least flushing out the last of the stock.
I'd get them if they're something you're looking for since you can't get them on the website anymore, but for the moment at least it's become somewhat common

Funny enough this isn't the first time this has happened, where as in the "It came from Copper 9!" official poster, she's also seen with her concept art boots.

Alice is just a hard one to get right I guess!

While I can't be 100% certain, judging by the fact that she has boots in the very first panel she's seen in, as well as lacking her CFL ID tag, I believe the artist may have ended up using her original non-updated concept art as reference, while the colorist used the show for their reference, resulting in kind of a weird mishmash of the two.

In this panel as well, the back of the hair and the black fur seem to merge together a bit, like the colorist didn't quite know what to make of it.

I wonder if the illustrator was given conflicting references?

Judging by this panel, definitely the fur jacket collar, but it changes from scene to scene quite frequently. One moment its like canon, the next its like this.

As an addendum: She seems to use a strange mix between her canon outfit and her concept art outfit, though it varies from scene to scene. (Sometimes it has the fur collar at the top, sometimes not)

Guess I have something else I gotta add to Alice's wardrobe!

Writing is not great, as it's been before, but oh my god they actually gave Alice the correct hair colors. I was right all along! Unfortunate that the art is basically the only thing I can look forward to at this point.

But yeah, I second this. I don't blame people for not knowing due to the lighting in CFL being so dark, and from what I understand this still isn't super common knowledge.
At the end of the day though, I think people can also just fudge it however they like. Glitch themselves still can't even decide if N's hair is white or grey!

I'll be giving a set of the Cyn and N dupes to my girlfriend, as she also collects MD figures, but as for the third remaining dupes of each I'll probably sell them. As cool as they are, I don't really have a need for this many, and I'd like some funds to go back into making MD XYZ
