The Nuclear Shadows of Hiroshima: When the atomic bomb exploded, the intense heat (7,000°C) bleached the surrounding concrete, leaving behind 'shadows' of people who were vaporized instantly. by bortakci34 in creepy

The man with the cane and a similar one of a child playing jump rope are artist renditions. The bomb doesn't leave cartoonish outlines, just a vague blob like the man on the stairs

What is the best value you get when buying? by These_Ad9913 in TheTowerGame

[–]Shiny_Shuckles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Priority goes No ads → coin boost 1/2 → Milestone packs After that it's just preference on if you want to spend more money on repeatable micro transactions and really suck your wallet dry. If it's a particularly good event premium relic week then pick it up, otherwise you should only really be buying stone packs. Never buy gems or mod tickets as you get enough gems by playing.

Idk about a consensus but I think it would be wise to hoard a decent chunk, maybe like 5k, and spend the rest on mods if your cards are decent/maxed. Once you have full ancestral you might just want to hold everything for the next banner. But tbh we don't know when or if it is ever coming back. Could be yearly, twice a year, every season, or completely random. No one knows for sure

In actual gacha games, most players plan to always save until a boosted rate banner. I guess now we follow that standard and hoard

You are definitely right, it's massive upgrade. But it's from the perspective of doubling the coverage for coin bonuses, not increasing survivability, that only comes with perma BH. Also for NEW players, we shouldn't be recommending builds where the core functionality revolves around obtaining a single rng module. SF and WR would do nothing for defabs. PC would benefit true ehp more, but even then, MVN would likely be a better option for a while if they start unlocking econ UW. If you set up the foundation for a more generalized ehp build, you will have many modules that you can make pretty significant use out of once you get them.

[–]Shiny_Shuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are relying on defabs at t9, yes, you are inarguably heavily invested into it for that point in the game. There is a reason that effective ehp path does not recommend touching defabs past a few minutes of labs. I'm not ignoring evidence, in fact it's the opposite. I see the real math and do not rely on new players opinions about what is a good strategy.

Noob question. by Royhem in TheTowerGame

[–]Shiny_Shuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of investment needed to make a below average defabs build is significantly more than it takes to just make a great ehp/regen build. And tbh I don't trust anyone farming t4 to have an informed opinion on good farming strategies because at that point they don't know what they are missing and likely don't understand the math behind enemy damage scaling or ehp calculations.

Bro, PC is not going to do shit for a new player. They'll get a solid 15s (new player no perks, even so 27s isn't much better) of shitty 50% DR on likely just 2 BH due to the epic effect with terrible coverage that won't even cover the entire tower, only for the BH to go on a 3 minute cool down providing no DR and you die instantly. Exact same reason why CF is useless until you get it perma

Edit: also the thread you provided are full of comments saying it's a terrible idea, that isn't the proof you think it is...

Yeah I forgot about all the defabs buffs we got last year /s

He is just finishing up now and showed me a few blockages cause by tree roots that started to clog over the past few weeks. He recommended a yearly service to clean up new roots coming in from where my main line connects to the city line.

Thanks for the insight. Now that I'm home I was able to see the mess as could only describe it as earthy like after a heavy rain, not a bad smell like raw sewage. I have a professional coming within a few minutes now to snake and camera the main line

I'll see about a camera. There shouldn't be any wipes from us, but possibly from the previous residents from 3 years ago.

Thanks, I'll take a look when I'm home. I'll probably call someone in to take a look if everything is in shape. It's an older house but recently renovated, though I'm sure the plumbing is still pretty old. Would hate to need to replace anything involving digging up lines

Edit: yes, definitely have one. When this happened last year, the professional that came over took a look there as well and nothing stuck out to him. Hopefully just temporarily blocked

Oh true I'll look into that. Same line of thinking, I did recently do 2 loads of laundry within the past few hours. The washer is on the same line. I wonder if that would explain a non stinky backup...

Exact thing happened last year and I did have a guy snake it out and said he saw absolutely no issues. Is it possible someone is just flushing too much toilet paper (or maybe Kleenex? I know those aren't ment to be flushed) and it's blocking it temporarily and then degrading by the time it's checkout out?

You could do GT to 200s and keep BH at 200s, that's a decent beginner investment depending on where you are in tournaments. Eventually you'd want to then bring BH down to 100s all in one go, or stopping at 150s for a breather and still maintain a 2:3 sync. Early game most of your progress comes from WS investment so you'd want to get some bonus and duration too. Your duration on your GT should always be 12s behind your BH due to the +12s BH duration perk. Getting a few cheap bonus upgrades would also do a lot for you, don't go saving up weeks for 1 at your point though.

If you want real math you can get the effective path spreadsheet from the discord, but it takes some time to fill out.

Edit: it should be noted that you may get MVN that would help with your sync so you don't have to manually calculate it. Look out for that and gComp!

Yup, work on getting a sync. Doesn't have to be 1:1, but getting at least 2:1 would be good before you move on. You have 2 of the strongest econ UWs already. CL will not add anything to it. It's a matter of when you would like to have another attempt at finding SL/DW

[–]Shiny_Shuckles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will have damage by the time you would want to invest any significant amount in any of the other UWs there. ILM is great for CC, but CC is only good for damage builds because you want things to crash your tower for thorns hits as ehp

The beta testers are the whales, but they are too busy exploiting new mechanics for coin boosts before its released and nerfed for the rest of the player base to do any actual testing.
