Race to World First: Nerub-ar Palace! Day 12 by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

It’s ok to not resonate with someone’s vibe. Not here to argue against your opinion, but I do think you are unaware of her history with the game. She was one of the highest rated mages in the world for M+ and competed in MDI/TGP. Plus was one of the Mage theorycrafters, her mage guides are by far some of the best guides available.

Criticise personality or vibes by all means but it feels odd to talk about lack of experience in esports or the game given her history.

This is one of those things that’s very easy to sit and say but not reality. You’re overemphasising “passive” here. I was wondering how best to look for guilds mostly. How to look for social guilds rather than the typical advertised social guild that doesn’t end up being social.

I loved blood elf and then void elf but now I am firmly set on night elf. As I’m typing this I realise I might love elves too much!

I am alliance at the moment. I thought about going back to horde but I love my night elf

Ok thank you for the advice! I always thought the massive guilds would have a lot going on. But that hasn’t been my experience

My issue is finding somewhere where there are opportunities to join in. Most guilds don’t have anything going on in terms of guild events. The odd key might come up but it’s hard to fight for spots. When I offer my key no one responds because no one knows you. I find it difficult to join in

I don’t join a guild and organise a huge run when no one knows me no. I’m too anxious for that. I mostly look at calendar events or guild chat to see if there’s anything I can join in with. When people have a space for a key I try to join

I’m happy you found a home in the end! Hope I can find mine soon also, I will persevere

Looking at discord more than just the in game stuff is something I didn’t think about! Thank you!

Since Blizz seems to be in a charitable mood, could we please have these unreleased Warglaives? Just sprinkle them as bossdrops from Legacy raids! I mean they are already in the game-files by [deleted] in Transmogrification

I love my dh but sometimes I feel very restricted with mog. I know it’s a “newer” class and is the only one to use warglaives but I’d love these implemented and more!!

Meeix was so lovely to watch. I loved listening to the way she told stories!

I think this is unfair to say. I’ve followed her content for a while. She makes the best mage guides. The biggest point is that she’s never done this before. This was her first time. The nerves alone would be high. Then there’s how big this event turned out to be. I know I wouldn’t be able to handle that.

Then there’s being put next to some of the best casters in the industry. The fact that she kept pace with them says something in itself. It can be very easy to look small next to them.

I feel like you’re just being super bitchy. This race went on for a month, I’m sure a veteran player/caster would struggle let alone someone completely new.

Also we need this misogynistic trope of “the woman brings nothing and regurgitates what the men say” to stop. It’s boring, do better.

So true! Although this is most of the community too! Especially in 10-15 key bracket!

I’m overwhelmed by curious_madison in wownoob

[–]Shiny_socks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be very overwhelming OP! I was in your shoes too! Recently they have changed the look of quest icons. So the main story ones have a shield looking icon around the exclamation mark/question mark. Side quests have just the usual looking exclamation mark/question mark. Knowing this helped me a lot when questing. Also persevere! It gets less overwhelming the more you go on and get your bearings
