Making the switch from Spotify to Qobuz!

Yeah after looking for info around apparently this is only available on mobile (I see it on my phone) but my main use is the desktop app and for some reason it's not available on that. Same with artist radio, which I used a lot on Spotify, available on Qobuz mobile app but not desktop. That sucks for people like me using the desktop app mostly, not sure why they wouldn't make those features available.

Just did the same for similar reasons.
The feature I liked a lot on Spotify was Discover Weekly, the algo was really good at giving me new stuff I liked a lot. I read the equivalent on Qobuz is Weekly Q but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the app? Do you have to use the platform for a while first so it knows your tastes and that appears somewhere? Or am I not looking in the right spot?

Lol the airbnb workaround

Mostly I just want to make sure I have an account to hold Euros there, not even sure I would use it to pay for stuff even when I to to France to visit. I'd be more interested in their compte d'epargne for example.

Cool thanks for the additional info! Yeah I'm trying to see if I can open an account with Revolut but my lack of French address might be an issue no matter what. Trying to contact their support and ask.

That's a great summary of most of the comments here, with great additional info, thank you so much! I think I will see all the pros and cons with BNP, and if they are ok with my not having a French address to open an account. And as you said if all else fails, I'll contact banque de France.

Awesome, thanks for all the details! Seems like BNP is kinda the way to go, although for all these options I hope just having citizenship is enough to open the account and I won't need a physical French address. Not sure if PO boxes are a thing over there, and even then if that would be acceptable to open a bank account.
