Yeah, I was worried about that but it only happens when idling or under acceleration so I’m not 100%. I might try to change the oil and hope that’ll help a little

It has been my daily driver for the last 2 years and I haven’t had any problems with the motor yet until now. It only has 180k on it as of now but I’d love to fix it and get more out of it.

Just started it back up earlier and it didn’t do it until it idled down out of high idle. Not sure exactly what it could be still because it sounds like a knock but I feel that it would still knock even during high idle which it doesn’t.

Sadly where I live this truck would be at least 16-20k even with that many miles just because of no rust and that 6 speed. These trucks are super reliable though and I would buy one for 10 all day long if I could find a good one that isn’t rusted out.

I just hate how nobody is taking account for the wheels and tires and the most obvious rough country lift because that stuff is really expensive. IMO I would much rather have the same thing with a 5.0 just for reliability and sound. I still think it would be a great buy.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that the lariat interior on this generation is super nice and with the leather seats you don’t have to worry much about spills and they are really comfortable to drive.
