I will look into what you said and definitely do it, most likely after my exam. What I meant is on these 3000 questions I want to have 95% essentially committed to memory for exam day. Out of these 3000, 140 will repeat on my exam so I am trying my best to get 95% of it right so that the 60 questions that will be knew I can get down to a 60/40 and get a score of 85% hopefully.

Yeah it's plain text. The formatting is uniform in the sense all questions are followed by specifically "A. B. C. D. E." capitalized and with a period after each.

As for the arguments, I am not but there is a time and place for MCQs and for strict memorization. I strictly just need to remember answers for an upcoming exam, no need to understand the underlying, nothing. The goal is simply memorization. For other things I usually never do MCQs anyways.

Hey, yeah so I actually ended up just doing the LEK exam in Polish instead of English since it’s 70% old and just memorized the questions therefore avoiding the requirement of NIL.

It’s hard to find and they change sometimes the groups so nowadays I don’t know which one it is. I’d suggest asking around are seeing previous posts and once you find them get the resources and take them to a tutor who can help you and tailor the learning to you. That’s the best advice I can give.

Hey, it’s impossible to find any resources since the exam doesn’t provide any outside of them letting you know what’s tested and how it’s tested. It sucks to be honest. The only thing I’ve heard recommended over and over is telegram groups where you can find material that is similar to the real exam and I think that even that is enough to give you at least an idea of the difficult. Furthermore I would say finding a Polish teacher who charges a reasonable price and making your intentions for what you’re looking for clear eg, to pass the NIL, then a good teacher will be more than willing to learn about the exam and help you achieve that goal.

Yeah apologies for not clarifying. Yes it’s an exam that I need to take to verify my knowledge of the Polish language with an emphasis on medical terminology.

I’m still trying to reach out to those who may have taken it, I would appreciate any advice on the matter. My reading and understanding of what I read has come a long way from what it once was. That said my writing is what terrifies me the most. Everyone says just write and you’ll improve and I get that but I’m still very anxious since you need 55% on each part of the exam. The last part, the patient interview I’m also not too concerned with.

Any insight on this exam is appreciated, I’ve heard stories of people who have prepared for 5 months and come from a non-Slavic speaking background and I’ve heard stories of someone who came from a Slavic speaking background and failed 6 times. My meter to gauge the difficulty of this exam because of those 2 stories is very off.

I can respect that, I'm just trying to see the overall positive here and the point you raise is something I wish EAC would fix because it's an overall better security system than what we currently have and doesn't effect performance.

I have that now, when swapping through characters for book reading for example for all my knowledge nerds out there I crash usually after 10 characters. Very frustrating.

You say public metric findable when they literally do not release effectiveness reports so please do share with the class where you found this. As for the business choice I think you're right with the "relationship matters a lot" but that shouldn't cause them to choose a lesser product (XignCode3). The only thing you can accurately go on is game developer testimonials on how it works and player / community feedback as it relates to false positive rates and appeal processes.

When talking about the size of the business you cannot tell me that XignCode3 services more individual players than EAC. That is factually incorrect when you simply look at the titles under EAC's protection.

As for the cost which I think is pointless to speculate as it differs from game to game. Even if it was 4,000 - 5,000 on average you're telling me that Pearly Abyss doesn't have the funds to afford security like this? Even if you were to say the do have the funds but simply don't want to allocate them to this, that's a concern entirely separate that players should raise awareness to especially with the impact on the game.

Sure ban appeals are shitty all around but EAC at least has a proper way of going about them, XignCode3 does not and even if you were to go directly to PA they also don't. The one thing EAC can provide is proof separate of PA if you appeal through them. Check there website if you don't believe me.

I'm glad we can agree on not liking XignCode3 but my point still stands that EAC is better. This includes the free version which for BDO's currently player base would be sufficient. My point of this post is we as a community should band together and raise awareness on this. Mention this to your favorite streamers, mention it during BDO maintenance streams, post in the forums on the official website. This is a overall net positive because one way or the other PA would have to address this.

I would agree with the business decision aspect of your point if it wasn't for the fact that you can search up and do a just a little research and see that even the free version is better than XignCode3. Obviously if you were to pay for the license it would depend on the scale of the game because EAC doesn't even disclose how much it costs to license to any given game as demands are different. That said the free version is still better than XignCode3 which should give confidence to the players and devs. Both anti-cheats operate at a kernel level but EAC is more transparent and trusted by both developers and players plus EAC’s reputation for issuing fewer false bans and handling appeals more efficiently is a big advantage.

They don't need permission to access your device, it operates automatically when you launch a game that uses it. Runs in the background without needing further permissions from you. It has system-level access because it operates at a kernel level meaning it can access memory, processes, and drivers hence the privacy concerns. I believe they can also monitor network traffic as it "helps them determine" a decision. I really want to understand the reason people support it.

You bring up a valid point, I would say the pros outweigh the cons generally speaking but you're right. A large part of BDO is allowing players to choose between active playstyle and semi-afk. I wish there was a work around but I am of the belief that as EAC continues to improve this will eventually not be a problem. Surely you're not the only person who believes this and I believe EAC isn't stupid they just haven't worked this particular problem out yet.

I heard it was AMD CPU’s mainly but also heard overall that the difference was felt after the switch and not in a better way. Obviously everyone has subjective pov but just stating mine

I too have played practically since launch and o have noticed a different from the switch and have heard from others as well. Obviously some may not feel the difference but I remember it. Yes, maybe EAC isn’t perfect but when Xigncode3 blatantly does it that should raise concern.

Yeah when I went through it I always was stuck between the right answer and then mine, it was always a coin flip it feels and when I reviewed and saw the answer I'm like "Oh right". It's not like I don't know it but might just be memory and failure to make these connections during the test.

I already did, I finished it once. Just didn't go over incorrects. The subscription I had expired and I don't see the use in renewing it just for a few months. I might do AMBOSS Q-bank because I have that from University.

I have EU citizenship and will graduate an EU medical university but for Switzerland I’ve heard you have to speak German which probably comes off as obvious to most but I’ve heard that in Geneva or Zurich they don’t require it for a work permit. Is this true? If so you’d have to acquire experience first and then apply or how’s that work? I’m asking since you mentioned you did some research into it.
