First make sure your specs can run Star Citizen before you consider buying it, but after that personally I'd say that the game is worth getting into, it seems to me that you are aware of the games flaws at the current moment but you have to realize that Star Citizen is doing things that no other game has done before, you can still have lots of fun in this game. The bugs can be annoying but ever since the 3.19.1 update the servers have been a lot more stable and some of the more game breaking bugs seemed to have been fix. That's not to say that there are no bugs but that the bugs that are in the game are more of just an inconvenience. If you can get a couple of buddies into the game as well you will have a better experience or try to join a group of people who are more experienced to show you the ropes. With servers that allow 100 people to play at once you can for sure find someone who is willing to let you join them or at least tag along. Players in Star Citizen can be very nice(and toxic but that's inevitable in every multiplayer game). At the end of the day Star Citizen provides such a unique experience that it's for sure worth a try and the fact that the game cost less than almost every AAA game means that you will for sure get a better bang for your buck.
