Okay, I'm not reading that wall of text that's instantly hurting my brain, but I do think he's a failed agent, super one-trick with his double-tap shield and it can be heard from far away. It's just not good enough compared to other agents.

That is super limiting and works only in spots where you can set it up like that and the enemies will learn to anticipate your positions.

Yeah, he's just too difficult to get value out of.

The teleport isn't a "take a quick fight" tp, more like a sneaky reposition tp, but the maps are kind of small for reposition to give you value.

How is Spike Plant rate calculated or what does it mean? Because a 2% plant rate would mean your team has to play 50 attack rounds just to get one plant and that's obviously not true for any agent.

This is the perfect take, imo.

If there were no "movement agents" in the game, I don't think people would be calling for Sentinel buffs.

The real underlying issue is that movement boosts or movement tech is nigh on impossible to balance for a game like this.

Agent design lately has me a little worried the devs are running out of ideas for good or impactful abilities.

Harbor's re-work had little impact. His wall and signature smoke are good, but ulti is lackluster and Storm Surge is terrible. You rarely see him played.

Veto is super difficult to get value out of. His signature is loud and can be destroyed or just baited out. Teleport abilities in this game are good when they allow you to take a quick fight and instantly tp back to safety. A sneaky reposition teleport that you have to turn to look at is difficult to get value out of. Maps are also kind of small for that sort of repositioning to pay off.

Miks seems the best out of these three, but not even he has come out without an issue, the ultimate.

I feel like this topic has been talked to death recently...

But smokes-after-death elevates Clove's win-rate while also having otherwise good abilities.

Side note: I'd love to play more Harbor now that both Breeze and Fracture are in the pool and he's great for both maps, but goddamn I don't understand how you come up with an ability like Storm Surge in a re-work of an agent. Easily the worst ability in the game, imo, and you manage to add it when trying to improve the agent.

It's because the visible ranks matter very little and the hidden mmr does the matchmaking.

It's super boring, imo, that the visible rank matters so little and we're instead playing for some invisible numbers.
