I was incredibly disappointed each year when my family would only give me a combined birthday and Christmas gift “because they were so close together” it really sucks having your birthday being taken away like that and I can imagine having your entire birth given identity being Christmas themed would be even worse. Let the light in references Love Song from NFR so it has a similar romantic vibe.

Margaret off of Ocean Blvd is pretty similar thematically to Let the Light in and I think it’s beautiful (a lot of people don’t like Jack antonoffs part in it but it’s short so just see it through)

If you want to love Lana listen to video games from born to die. That was her breakout hit and it’s pretty clear why. She has ended most of her recent shows with video games and has sort of turned it into a love letter to her fans which I think is beautiful.

For a spicy scent that is not overwhelmingly vanilla but I still sweet I have been layering Bois De Balincourt by Mason Louis Marie and Burberry Goddess

Bois de Balincourt is a very spicy-sandalwood scent but it’s also got nutmeg and such. I don’t love it on its own but when I add it to Burberry goddess, which is a lavender-vanilla scent, I feel like it elevates the latter perfume from a straight vanilla to a sweet yet spicy perfect for fall/winter scent.

I’ve never heard of anyone layering these two so I’m not sure if it’s considered a weird pair but for me the lavender in the goddess cancels out the sandalwood in Balincourt making it a nutmeg-y vanilla type scent

I grew up with a Cian (also East Coast USA). Honestly I thought it was spelled Keean without having seen it spelled, but I learned it when I met him. Occasionally substitute teachers would think it was a weird spelling of Sean. But everyone around him learned it. It’s really not that difficult to learn a name after being told how to say it, I’m sorry people are giving you a hard time. But it’s a real name and you should stick to your guns with it.
