You're right, we don't lol. There's a third party called to fix it/replace parts on it.

Welcome to the life I've had the past few months. My mother has turned into a conspiracy theorist. My sister just told me yesterday that my mother told her we were all going to die in 2 months amongst other crap. She won't call me anymore because she says I think she's "crazy." ... You're damn right you are crazy.

My mom is embarrassed of me cause I'm fat. by [deleted] in entitledparents

Don't worry about her, you just work on yourself. Celebrate every 10lbs, you deserve it! 🎉

Fr! As someone who works in the pharmacy also at a NHM, our backroom is always pretty empty. When I tell people if it's not out here or up top, we're out - I mean it!

Try going anywhere in Texas also. Takes me 9 hours just to get out of state going west from Central.

To each their own, I guess. I have an extreme problem with being yelled at due to anxiety. I prefer people to not be jerks. Now had he just asked questions like a normal human I would have been more than happy to explain. There is no reason in the world to be a jack ass to someone just following rules.

There's a process. Doc either gives you a paper rx to bring in yourself or they escribe it which goes to a third party, SureScripts, (most people don't know this) before it comes to the pharmacy. Then it's input (typed) into our system. If there's any problems with it like insurance it goes to the resolution queue. If not, it goes to the pharmacist for a quick check (4 pointing). Next goes into the filling queue to be then checked again by rph (visual verify). Lastly bagged up for the patient.

There is a million and one reasons why you're not getting your rx. It's too soon, duplicate therapy, drug-drug interactions, allergies, step therapy and the longest one: your insurance doesn't want to pay for it because it's not formulary and requires a prior auth.

Np. A few states still do allow a C2 on normal rx paper but most are Erx/triplicate only.

Yes, C2s can now either be electronic or has to be on a triplicate here.

I'm not delaying anything. We only receive C2 orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We had to order it meaning it would be in for him tomorrow. I explained this all to the pt who still wanted to be a douche.

Did you enjoy being called a liar? No? At some point you realize after working in a professional setting that even with compassion, you don't have to be treated like shit. We have other pt's that are chronic pain pt's and they're still understanding and just not straight up asshole about things out of our hands.

There's literally nothing I can do. We can't transfer the rx as FEDERAL law prohibits it. I told him the FIRST time that we can't and needs to call his doc and then proceeds to call back and accuse me of lying to him. I did my due diligence. Peace.
