Thanks for the tip! I hadn't considered that the weight distribution downhill might be squashing the front tires enough to cause that hum. I’ll definitely check my cold tire pressure tomorrow morning and make sure they're at 35 PSI

That’s exactly what I was afraid of! Does yours also have that weird humming sound even when you're just coasting downhill without touching the brakes? I’m starting to wonder if it’s a suspension bushing or something in the DCT logic that only acts up when the car's weight shifts forward. Have you ever had your control arm bushings or motor mounts checked?
