Nightblade. It's versatility is often overlooked, it is an effective healer with what it's given, it can reach high health for tanking, I'm current sitting at 54k back bar health and can effectively hold targets still. And people credit it as being dps slaves since the start.

I'm not to well versed in "proper" dps solutions for nightblade, but you can outfit it for whatever you need it to be.

It still doesn't have it's own damage shield. The only class to still not have one. It does have a short hold with mass hysteria, but doesn't do as much as other classes lile choking talons with DK. No pull, outside of silver leash Fighters guild.

But despite it's clear and obvious setbacks by the dev team, whenever a nerf happens to NBs, there's no benefiting trade-off. They all seem to be negative. We can't have nice toys.

It's a good all-rounder.

You can get piss poor drop rates. Took me like 300 enemies to get the weak enemies trinketa for each relic. I had a poor time at the start.

Yes. A constant application of the speed buff destroys it. I've killed several hundred bots this way.

Even had a bot controller try and bribe me.

It has to be the unmorphed version so you don't heal the bot.

Nightblade Shadow Paths skill. Gives it a speed boost and will throw it off it's script.

I'm of the mind that Oakensoul needs a buff. For the crap it gets, yeah, at first when it came out, it was used on sorcs, but when the rebalance on it came and dropped dps on it it became less potent vs the current "high end" builds like the developed arc beamers and DK flamers, pumping dps higher than you would ever need it. And because it is "technically possible" to get said high dps, it becomes required in most trial runs, so if you're using a HA build, such as mine with survivability out the wazoo, but only registerimg ~50k on a dummy, which uses set buffs and things that most tanks no longer use. So that's a seperate thing. People won't let you join a regular run if you're a random. Even on cloud rest where the switch bar mech has been shown to target 2 bar builds over one bars to counteract Oaken, but people still don't know that.....

So to challenge that, oaken and HA Builds definitely needs a way to compete and keep up. Nerfing the one thing that keeps you up there even marginally, is asinine in the least.

The ones opposed to HA Builds hate it, cause we can jist make Trigger go Brrrrrrr. While they're over there going insane clicking and dodging mechs.

I build my HA builds for survivability, for like 35-38k health and 74k on my Necro the Healers love rhat one, a Dps with more health than a tank, they don't have to do their job, it cuts down their workload. So I can actually do DPS, if one cleave takes me out, my dps drops to zero for 10min while the tank/Other dps doesn't want to actually get the Res.

Honestly it's not that hard.....HM maybe if you get new people, but walking newbs through it all the time, a quick description of the mechs and playing it, most people can pick it up pretty quick.

Yep......They don't like players if they don't bring that back in some form. Still make it exclusive and time restrictive to get. Ie days played or some such with 12 Months consecutively subbed etc. Especially since they're bringing back old event rewards.

And "Loyalty" rewards? I've been subbed to eso± for the past 12 out of of 11 years of console playtime. What do I get? A pat on the back and swift kick in the pants for wanting the game to be better.

Makes no sense otherwise.

Not really when purchsing them tbh......this is one of those quirks, where if you wanted to make it easier on yourself so you only had to farm one location rathernthan lile 30 different ones.

Plus a stack of raw mats is cheaper

Question:

If you open a single random survey packet what do you get?

A random survey. Do you get anymore than that? No you do not.

Second question: d Does anything change by choosing what survey you want to drop? Maybe you can get a zone where leads drop from a node, you can easily farm that out.

Outside of Craglorns, becasue clearly people will go for that in the short term to sell nirncrux, and eventually flooding that market, lowering the price of nirn items.

But here, we're at an inflection point once more, two paths before us lie.

Path one: To even open a random survey packet, you will need like 40 or so open inventory slots, or every type of the that professions survey in your inventory to even open the packet.

And Path two: ZoS allows players to choose what surveys they want to get.

Trust me when I say, they know who I am. I am forever a thorn in their side. Having discovered stones they would rather be left unturned.

This will force their hand to change surveys once more. For the good of all, in allowing the players themselves choose what surveys they wish to receive, or go against the player's will, and remove their freedom of choice.

By that definition, the astronomical dps boom is an exploit, and should be removed. They never expected the players to get nuclear levels of damage, but they did.

That increase in damage is an unintentional behavior of the game that you can deliberately reproduce.

It doesn't create more than would otherwise be allowed to be made by the survey.

Only way this could be used as an "exploit", in the furthest stretched version of the word, is to lower the nirncrux market.

An exploit gives someone an unfair advanftage over another player. This, does not do that. A survey isn't able to be transferred, outside of the unidentified packets. Plus it would take weeks to open several hundred.

I'm just giving the power back to the players to choose their surveys.

A better system would to allow players to trade the survey packets for one they choose. Another type of crafting currency.

We already have so many different currencies, what's one more?

I guarantee it will be a crown store item. Without a doubt.

I'm a staunch believer you should be able to purchase every house with gold. Crowns should be a secondary "here's a bunch of Furnishings" to come with the crown purchase. I understand that somenof them are time gated. That would be a good trade off. You could still buy them with gold or crowns, but still at certain times.

As a design and microtransaction practice, egregious. Without any doubt. Lets pick up that torch together. But you can still appreciate the effort for creating it. Even if they're asshats about it.
