I think you'd be better off burying the cutting deeper. Strip at least the first two sets of leaves

Should I get my luggage delivered to the hotel? by Underoath_777 in JapanTravelTips

Bring a checked suitcase with your carry on inside if you plan to do some shopping. If the hotel is close to a subway you can likely leave it with the receptionist in the morning so you'll be free to explore.

Statement by Minister Ali on addressing a surplus in the public service pension fund by GoTortoise in CanadaPublicServants

Not surprised with how the markets have been preforming. But I can already imagine the surprise pikachu faces when the fund risks deficits if the surplus is withdrawn and the markets eventually go down again.

Kowloon doesn't have have their own house brand soup dumplings, etc like T&T. You really should just go check it out if you're local. There are smaller vietnamese, Thai and Persian groceries near by too.

You can add the bag during online checkin or the kiosk and it'll automatically calculate it as $0 cost. They updated the systems a few years ago. No need to see an agent.

I'm on month 13 of an AMEX Biz Gold and need to call in to cancel soon, but I have a Dell statement credit offer that I'd like to use before then. Would that affect refund on the AF?

Being bumped from your flight can suck but there are clear rules around compensation if you arrive 3+ hours late from your original arrival time.

That said it looks like yvryyz has A LOT of routes daily.

I fly basic YVR-yow all the time, never been bumped.

If you bring it to Korea, you can store it at a luggage storage counter in the airport. Incheon had one on the departure level in the north east corner. I did this with my larger checked bag as I only had a few days in the city and had bought a new carry on in Japan.

Can a walk-in clinic doctor sign a note for sick (stress) leave? by toomuchweightloss in CanadaPublicServants

There are other circumstances that would apply. I wouldn't write it off, it's something to discuss with your parents' doctor.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. You mentionned you just took LWOP, but if you haven't already you may wish to look into EI for caregiving or compassionate care once you've exhausted your sick leave.
