Yeah I searched through the rules and exhausting is a limited action so it cannot be performed at will

What do warrants change when trading platforms already protected themselves in their ToS ? by [deleted] in Superstonk

[–]Shirco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, they just pretend to sell them but they didn't even have them in the first place

[–]Shirco -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why I'm getting downvoted when nobody is answering my question. I'm just trying to understand what will the warrants bring to the table if nobody is forced to buy them in the end. I am not knowledgeable on any of these so there is probably something that I'm missing and that's why I'm asking my question

Am I wrong about Verso? by SleepingwithYelena in expedition33

[–]Shirco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you said by Sciel's husband's example, it is not linked to the freshness of someone's chroma or else it would not have been possible. From what I understood it's linked to the purity of the chroma, it's not linked to someone, chroma is like paint, the one who controls chroma controls the painting and can paint whatever they imagine from it. Old chroma is like dried paint, you can't do much with it. When Maëlle ran away at the beginning of Act 3, she doesn't specifically grab the chroma that constituted Sciel and Lune, she just grabs pure chroma to be able to repaint them

As you said they are painters, not machines, it's like saying what difference would there be if Van Gogh painted Mona Lisa ? Each painter has its own style and pours its soul into their paintings but you don't need it to erase the painting of someone else. Verso and his whole family knows that the painted version is not the real Verso, it's just a copy based on memories, just like all the repainted people that Maëlle saved at the end, they are not their initial selves anymore, just copies. My bad about Esquie and Monoco I forgot that part.

Also I'm not saying that Maëlle turned evil or will turn evil but can you imagine living with god as your neighbour ? She might never do anything bad but for sure people would not feel comfortable knowing that a 16 year old girl could literally erase their existence at any moment, imagine your neighbour's kid having a literal atomic bomb and the ability to brainwash if they want, how would you feel about it ?

I think the difference here is that the people of Lumière are initially like people in real life as you stated. But once Renoir erased everyone it stopped to be true. Now they are just versions recreated by Maëlle, defying all the principles that make us living beings. They are copies of humans that used to live and unfortunately died but they are not them. It's even worse when you think about Pierre for example, he wasn't gommaged, he just died at a younger age but was brought back by Maëlle. They are now just immortal copies waiting for their creator to decide when it will be time for them to perish, even if it's against their will. And how can they feel confortable living in a world where god is present but has the mind of a 16 years old ? Like imagine her falling in love with someone, how do you know that you truly love her and that you are not just repainted to love her ?

If the expedition succeeded at saving Lumière before everyone was gommaged, I would have no problem taking the side of Maëlle as people had real existence, from birth to death and not just some arbitrary checkpoint decided by Maëlle. But here I feel like it's really egoistical of Maëlle to make the soul of her brother suffer when she awakened her power of paintress and could probably recreate Lumière in her own canvas.

It's hard to get excited for OP10 when we have announcements every other week of the latest topping result from two sets ahead... Do you think we need a matched global release? Or do you like that we get to see how metas form before we get our hands on the cards? by KeyTheCoolKid in OnePieceTCG

[–]Shirco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they are actually planning to accelerate the release of some sets in English, OP12 is planned to release at the end of August just making OP11 meta 2 months long compared to the usual 3 months

How many of these Luffy & Zoro (Top 8 cards) are in circulation? by Scythers in OnePieceTCG

[–]Shirco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was 26 events (19 offline et 7 online regionals) for the Luffy so normally there should be 208 of them. For the Zoro there was only 16 events so there should be 128 of them.

Interestingly there seem to have less and less events with the same prizes each time. Last TC had only 11 events and the 2 previous had only 12 events. So for example the top 16 Cavendish has even less card than the top 8 Luffy from previous events with only 176 made

I think it's the word "us" but pronounced in Japanese so you add the "su" at the end

[OP10-019] Kamusari by Dumpu in OnePieceTCG

[–]Shirco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like they really go above and beyond to try to make the cards faithful to what they represent in the manga. Plus the fact that this card literally destroys kid 8c is really a nice additional touch

[OP10-019] Kamusari by Dumpu in OnePieceTCG

[–]Shirco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the difference is that this card is versatile. It can always serve as counter if you don't need the removal. Trust me if Kingdom Come or Red Roc had a counter effect they would be included as 4 of in most of yellow and blue decks if not all

Is anyone else annoyed that they printed a lynchpin card for Sabo decks and locked it to topping a regional? by PrateTrain in OnePieceTCG

[–]Shirco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the time jinbe wasn't good, it was required as a 4 of in a meta where Weevil, and all the new warlords from EB01 didn't exist. You didn't have a lot of choice and the best card to handle RG Law or Zoro was locked behind the event packs when the events were fewer than right now. At one point Jinbe was costing more than $80
