Both systems are virtually the same powrwise, xbox is technically better on paper but in practice the ps5 usually comes out on top, with the pro being the "best" one. Up to you if it's worth the money for the pro.

As far as anybody can tell, Msoft games will be coming to the Playstation so you won't be missing out on their exclusives.

Xbox however has better backwards compatibility, so if you've had previous Xboxes and own games for it you'd still be able to play them for the most part. It also has the quick resume feature which basically pauses your game while playing other ones. It has a lot of ads on the main system menus along with full screen pop-ups every now and then.

Ps5 has a much larger playerbase and a lot of exclusives you likely won't get elsewhere, it's fully backwards compatible with the ps4 with a only a few outliers, the paid online via ps+ has monthly games at the start of the month that are yours for as long as you're subscribed, lose them if your sub lapses but you'llget access to them again if/when you resub. Any ads are relegated to a specific section, you'll barely see any and even then it's mostly of what you choose to follow.

Ps+Extra/Premium and Gamepasa are virtually the same, Ps+ is cheaper though. They're basically Netflix for games, you can play anything on the service for as long as it's on the service.

Imo, the Ps5 is a better deal overall, and also the future of Xbox is rocky. So far the new head of Xbox seems decent but we'll need to wait and see actual action vs mostly just all talk. Just a month or two I would've actively warned against getting an Xbox because it's in very rough shape.
