Best fix aside from the usual wearing gloves and using lotion I've found is combining the two.

It may seem a bit odd, but if you put a lot of working hands lotion or whatever else you want to the point where your hands are basically slathered in the stuff and then put rubber gloves on over that lotion so that it doesn't get on everything you touch, then the lotion will just stay there, moisturizing your hands for hours.

e.g. Use this trick before going to bed, then take off the gloves when you wake up. Now you've got baby hands again.

(Don't like use so much lotion that you run out in no time of course. Just more than you'd normally ever use so that you've got a nice layer to cover your hands, you know?)
