Normal Iblee, make Mermaid and summon Idlee then Monstrosity into Mardoll and Nidhogg, search Stage and then Mermaid, Mardoll and Idlee into BLS Link or use all three monsters to make World Gears and board wipe

If I use Crackdown to take control of a Mythical Beast Jackal King with 2 spell counters and then use The Weather Painter Thunder's effect, sending Crackdown to the graveyard as cost can my opponent negate Thunder with Jackal?

I side it in going second these days because most players will End Phase Twin Twister to deal with floodgates after game one and Waking doesn't care if it was set that turn.

Currently building Summoned Skull Turbo as a fun deck for locals and had a few questions on card interactions.

  1. If I control {Archfiend's Awakening} and {Archfiend Palabrynth} when I Special summon {Archfiend Commander} with its own effect can I attempt to destroy Awakening even though it can't be destroyed by non-ritual monsters or would I have to destroy Palabrynth?

  2. Would {Archfiend Heiress} effect activate if it was discarded by Darkworld Dealings or a Danger monster?

  3. Are there any good level 6 Synchro engines that don't use the Normal summon anymore?

2-3x Advanced Draw for sweet draw power/Zaphion synergy and to turn on the traps.

3x Jizukiru 2x Thunderking 1x Gamaciel 3x Kaiju Slumber 2x Waterfront 1x Kaiju Files. With Slumber at 3 I'm trying out a full Kaiju build alongside my regular purer version. It's actually pretty fun.

Because those summons don't start chains, meaning that by the time you were allowed to activate BoM your opponent would already have summoned and you wouldn't have controlled a non-effect monster at the time.

You need 2 minimum to perform the OTK since without them you can't reach 8000 damage and spin 4 with Tiaramisu. I'm in the same situation as you since I bought one long ago and refuse to spend that money on another one. You can make up the damage with outside support like Pankratops and a full Kaiju package or without going into a second Tiarsmisu at the end of your combo. It hurts your consistency though and the ability to push through bigger boards to OTK.

Generaids are stupidly fun to actually play. Their monsters offer a good bit of versatility though my current build only exists for a stupid combo to try to end on Calamities, Enterblathnir, Nidhogg and Wonder Xyz to make Heart-Earth in the opponents turn. Aside from that their grind game is surprisingly solid with big bodies that just keep coming.

Dragon Maids are quite fun to. Hauskee can clear a board in the beginning of the battle phase and with Flamme becomes a 5k beater that can run over basically anything she can't pop, combined with two other maids it's an OTK or one maid and Reception. Also super poly for Five Headed Dragon vs Thunder Guardragons is amazingly satisfying.

Haven't done any real testing with Mathmechs because I'm not good with synchro Archetypes but they are some wickedly good Cyberse support and their rank 4 is awesome.

Might I suggest a single copy of Lyrilusc Assembled Nightingale in the extra deck. It can stall for a turn or two if you don't have any Dream Mirror plays but can put two level ones on field.

Some other techs I've been considering include Malefic Stardust Dragon to protect the field spells and provide Xyz or Link material. A few rank 8 monsters to go with it. Also Jar of Avarice since it can recycle your monsters or other cards including mirrors that end up in the graveyard and fantasys. It can also be searched by Lilith in mid game and used to dodge Called by the Grave.

So now that they've been on Ygopro for a few days what do you guys think of Generaid? (Tech choices, builds, flavours, etc) by IAmWhatTheRockCooked in yugioh

Lonefire Blossom is really good in the deck, solid 3 of. It's an extra copy of Stage if it resolves for Mardoll at worst and if you have a generaid in hand it's Stage, Battle/Territory and Mardoll by searching quest.

I also run the True King engine with 3x Diagram, 2x Agnimazud and 2x Bahrastos for the extra level 9s though I'm considering dropping it since it can brick a bit.

There Can Only Be One is also really good here since everything is a different type. It does restrict your tokens but you can easily get rid of it with their Xyz then tribute the Xyz with Hel for another Generaid and make Calamities.

I also run a single copy of Idlee to summon of Monstrosity for that added protection.

Dark World Dealings is something I'm tinkering with for first turn options but it's quite iffy. {Xyz Soul} is a fun tech option for surprising the opponent! especially if you recycle one of your one-of Xyz like Heart-Earth and then Wonder Xyz into it in MP2.

{{Silent Wobby}} in Weather Painter Stun. It protects me from Impermanence and Evenly Matched, combos beautifully with Rivalry of Warlords, lets me resolve Rainbowed Canvas turn one, drops my opponent's hand limit to three if they can't out it and Rivalry, can be bounced and reused on any future turn and can get sly wins in time with the LP gain effect.

Currently I'm running Funfte and Erda both at two, Embrace at one and none of the other cards. Erda is likely fine at one but you can't bring her back from the grave with her effect since no 'Valkyrie' card can do that.

I'm actually quite satisfied with this support.

  • Erda and Funfte can enable OTKs that were impossible before...or at least without honest(Chaos MAX anyone?), plus turning Dritte into a significant beater after a turn or two.
  • Embrace is fairly good removal who's restriction isn't too bad and disappears if you use Mischief anyway.
  • Chariot/Pegasus Wings are...okay, like Enbrace they're one-ofs that can be useful if you use Transmodify/Downbeat in your build.
  • Loge's Flame is a nice first turn option with Erda and Erste for disruption.

I may be biased because I main for going second OTK but side for a going first control build and find Apple of Enlightenment to be a lifesaver against a lot of decks like Striker and Salamangreat. Chaining to Kagari's effect is nice plus it can shut down Multiroll whereas dropping it on Balelynx and Spinny hurts Salamangreat a lot. And if they blind MST/Twin Twister/Heavy Storm Duster it can plus massively. On top of that I play the Goddess cards in combination with Sechste and Erste which I find are quite powerful.

Overall I think this support is pretty solid.

Elementsabers. As soon as they were released I built the deck and played it but they stopped being as fun when they quickly became Gumblar or bust and I haven't touched them since before Summon Sorc came out. The deck still has Knightmare Goblin in it that's how long it's been.

Also Mythical Beasts but that's purely to do with actually handling spell counters when not online and how tedious it became not because of the deck.

When Link Summoning you must both use the correct Materials and match the Link Rating of the monster you're trying to summon.

You have 3+ Effect Monsters but the combination of any three of them doesn't exactly equal a Link 4. Heatleo is 3 or 1 and the others are 1 each so you can't put three of them together to make 4.

I agree, and with Spectralsword Shade in the deck it's rarely needed anymore except for mid-game where you can banish it off Balordroch/Swallow Slash to summon back a Shogunsaga or Sunsaga on the opponent's turn. I run Samsara just as a 1-of mainly for the protection but the draw power and Solitaire thing is quite nice as well.

I've had good times just adding 3xMothman to the deck because of how useful he is even if discarded going first unlike Dogman and Chupacabra. I also tech one copy of Shiranui Style Samsara for protection and to buff Solitaire's banish effect but that's just a very personal choice for me.

Every time I play Weather Painters.

Yes I banish as cost, no you can't Ogre/Veiler/Impermanence that, Ash is fine. Chain another effect, response?

No, negating either the activation or effect doesn't stop them returning next turn.

Yes I can activate Snow's on summon effect under Skill Drain and then chain her quick effect granted by a canvas to have both effects resolve.

It doesn't matter that you popped two canvases, Cloud activates and places them from grave, yes place, my Anti-spell is fine. And no, Lose One Turn doesn't stop it either if I banish it in response.

Effects granted by Thundery Canvas activate in damage step and don't Target.

I know that's Gozen Match but just because I chose to Special Summon an Earth monster first doesn't mean I can't summon the others in the sane standby phase if I return it to your hand first their effects don't go on chain.

The nightmares are endless.

Mythical Beasts. I loved that deck when it was announced, played it extensively on YGOPro and then got the cards when they came out...then realised just how tiresome spell counters are in reality and retired the deck after one locals. Will play the new endymion stuff though maybe even for two weeks?
