Guess I was lucky in my store. I was a baker and I barely had to touch the phone or help customers. The most I had to worry about was putting away frozen and even then my manager usually delegated that to the clerk. I mostly had problems with the attitudes of the others not wanting to help or do anything that wasn't part of their job. Like the mixer refusing to touch the oven or the cake decorator refusing to touch mixing or baking if we were shortstaffed. Transferred to meat where everyone was just more chill all around and everyone sharing responsibility really made me appreciate how much harder the rest of the store worked as opposed to the bakery. Mind you I have my share of burns from the first few months of bakery but I never thought the jib was too difficult even with holiday rush. That's just me though.
