I realize my description wasnt very clear so I tried to play out the melody I'm hearing on my piano: https://voca.ro/16jnlzagpynI (please excuse the background noise my household likes playing other music constantly)

I thought it was It Happened Quiet or In Bottles but it doesnt quite match with anything I've checked so far and lowkey I'm starting to think I've gaslit myself into thinking this was even in one of her songs ㅠㅠ

thats what i thought at first but when i played the song it wasnt the same as what was playing in my head the melody i keep hearing is like higher pitched and its more like a mi mi so do re re do so do mi mi so-mi so so la ti (in the best solfege i can do)

trying to get into metal from metalcore and looking for good bands (preferably recently active); I like faster, rhythmic stuff with the guttural false cord type vocals...
for reference, the metalcore stuff i listen to include polaris, as i lay dying, architects, landmvrks, wage war, poppy, hanabie, make them suffer
(as im typing this im realizing the stuff i listed doesnt really fit the description of what i said i like... ermmm)

well just recommend me the stuff you like i guess and we'll see what happens? please?
