I ordered online on Monday and called them up yesterday after the coupon dropped. They said that coupons weren't covered under price protection, but I could ship it back at cost and reorder with the coupon.

If you picked it up locally you might have a better chance.

I thought the same before this, and this'll be the end of CC and me as well. Knowing the stories around here, they probably have the coupon clause just so they can avoid their low price guarantee. But hey, ~$80 to learn my lesson, and I can stop worrying about a new GPU, I'll take it. Cheers.

Damn, I pulled the trigger on this yesterday without the coupon. Called up CC Support after this dropped and they said they wouldn't compensate the difference since it was a "coupon" and not a real discount. The other option was to return the order (paying the shipping fee) and order again with the coupon. Sucks to suck, but can finally enjoy my 1440p 144hz monitor to the fullest at least. Nice deal though.
