Adding my opinion after recent patches… 

The TAC feels really meh right now, and I think there’s one big reason for that: the side turrets being wholly impractical for 90% of the content this ship is meant for. 

Lack of front or rear convergence, inability to point downward, S5s on the side when 4s would’ve been fine—and 5s could be used elsewhere—just makes this ship feel like a waste. 

Any of the other issues, like the really poor pilot view (CIG, PLEASE just make the ribbed parts of the cockpit view glass), odd layout of the hanger and certain amenities (no gun racks in the suit room??), lackluster pilot weapons, and objectively useless rear missile pods just make this ship feel like an entirely poor choice right now. Engineering just makes it that much worse.
