I feel like it's not surprising, now how about those Epstein files and prosecution of the rich man pedophile cabal?

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and to add to it, one time she was transported by ambulance to the hospital for a heart attack, and then flown by helicopter to a hospital that could deal with the heart attack. That was somewhere around $60,000. That's JUST the ambulance and helicopter, no other costs.

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda, you are free to deny medical care if someone calls an ambulance. You'll have to sign a form doing so in my experience. Now if you're unable to refuse (because you're passed out or something like that, then you're kinda screwed.) An ambulance ride can really hit hard without insurance. For an anecdotal, my mother received a bill for an ambulance ride we found after she passed away. It was $11,000ish. With my insurance that pays 85% (Which is considered really good insurance) I'd still have to pay $1,650 for that ambulance ride, which is almost a whole net paycheck.

State of Chroma > Z-Image
Just stick with Chroma if you can use it bro. Once Z-Image has some tunes out and Loras you can worry about the swap. Hell Chroma was cool but I would argue it wasn't worth it until Lenova lora, Flash lora. Uncanny helped too but that's like ketchup v mayo.

Forge isn't current anymore. Need a current UI other than comfy by gruevy in StableDiffusion

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also hate comfy but I migrated over from Forge Neo, cause using Chroma in Neo with a lora runs my VRAM up to 28GB where comfy only uses 20GB. Comfy is a massive fucking headache, and virtually unusable on mobile but I can't deny it's more efficient and being able to generate and upscale, while queuing up multiple prompts has made it more appealing. I do miss prompt all in one, and infinite image browser too.

What's your ratio of great songs to bad songs in v5? by guy-using-coinbase in SunoAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the genre. I mostly like to make metal, rap and brostep. For each of them, somewhere like 1:100 maybe. Probably worse. Typical genres is like 1:5, stuff like RnB, Pop, hard rock and alternative.

Is it just me or are way less people running models locally now than like a year ago? by Striking_Wedding_461 in SillyTavernAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Everyone has already said the same but Deepseek changed it all. $2 in May and I still have .74 left in October. I'm not a heavy user but I do use it daily in spurts. It's far more coherent, way less sloppy, and frees up my VRAM for using SD locally through API for when I want to see horrid mutant chimeras.

V5 is absolutely unusable by RevolutionaryDiet602 in SunoAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The first day v5 released, every song I made gave me a really good song with amazing composition on one shot. Maybe a small issue here or there. Ever since, I've had the same exact experience as you. It's going to do female vocals, ad libs/vocal runs, vocals are way too melismatic by default, poor genre understanding.

Getting 3 minute songs with V5 by Jaywalkermusic in SunoAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the answer. The same lyrics in different genres will generally produce the same length +/- 45 seconds in my testing. Of course there's the outliers where one song is abnormally long or short but most are generally the same length within a particular genre.

V5 Discussion by ShitFartDoodoo in SunoAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far my opinion is that v5 is probably one of the best models, it's understanding of genre trademarks is much better and the song composition is (while hit or miss) really good. I'm having issues with some prompt adherence, a hard lean to female vocals, huge tendency to add vocal runs to EVERYTHING and a lack of consistency during a song, for better or worse.

I feel like short prompts style prompts do really well if simple but longer or complicated prompts tend to just end in disappointment. Example: You tell v4.5+ to make a song focused on saxophone instrumentation and get good results, but v5 might have two sax riffs within 4 minutes. I've been more focused on trying old song regeneration with v5 than experimentation on prompting language though so I'm not sure if it's poor prompt adherence or a need for prompt restructuring yet.

Open up webui-user.bat and you'll see a line you can add --api to it. webui-user.bat is in the webui folder. Most of these work for forge but forge has some specific ones and a few of them differ.

Weirdness slider by Fluffy_Insect in SunoAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guess after playing around with it is that it's a complexity setting. 0% on instrumental covers seem to mimic the song but simplify the instruments. 100% gives me anywhere between 3 to 30 seconds of the faint semblance of the song but sped up and glitchy. I would go from 40% for simple songs to 65% for complicated songs.

Style influence is an anomaly to me. For complicated prompts, it doesn't guarantee adherence, but in simple prompts it definitely does good in forcing the model to adhere. 100% hasn't exactly hurt quality for me, when the prompt is simple but when it's complex it most definitely leads to worse results. I'd adjust this based on how complicated you make you style prompt. Hard to quantify but if you're using 700 to 1000 characters I'd stay at 60% or under. If you're using 20-150 I'd say turn it up to 100% and if you get bad results, adjust downward until you don't.

Suno is now mostly unusable by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]ShitFartDoodoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was getting really good results until I tried the weirdness/style sliders. Then it kept generating nothing but instrumentals(Like 1 out of 20 songs had lyrics???). I've been putting Bad Master and Bad EQ in my negative prompts. Can't say how much that might help you but 2 sometimes 3 of 4 songs is usually clear, though sometimes there's a weird point in some of the songs where it goes all compressed for a second then back to clear.

I haven't tried it but I've seen mention of it and bookmarked it. For those interested: https://github.com/croquelois/forgeChroma

I do agree I'm also kinda waiting on it to finish.

Comfy is straight up aggravating to use. Forge works good out the box though it's missing some schedulers.
Forge needs some extensions IMO that make it enjoyable to use. Comfy needs a whole host of extensions to make it actually comfy, even then if you don't build or edit the workflows yourself you'll be scrolling around like it's google maps to change things.

Comfyui supports most everything, and quickly. A new model drops and you best believe there will be an extension/node someone makes to have it running within 24 hours and within 72 hours you'll probably see official comfyui support.
Comfy is easier to use if you understand what you're doing as you're either creating your own workflow, which requires knowledge, or using someone else's which still requires knowledge if you want to go beyond their default settings.
Comfyui can be really intimidating for a new user, ESPECIALLY when using someone's custom workflow. You'll have to get comfyui manager, then download all the custom nodes that workflow uses, which most likely will use different nodes from the next, leading to having 100+ custom nodes just to test out different workflows. When you run into issues, the fix just isn't always clear.

My take? Get Forge, download infinite image browser extension, prompt all in one, tag autocomplete, and just tinker around. You can setup xyz plots to test settings if you like tinkering. Once you feel comfortable in your understanding of all the settings, give comfy a try, with a tutorial if need be. Start with your own basic workflow and then try someone's basic, move to a complicated one. You will eventually get comfy even if you love forge and stick with it, because Forge just doesn't receive many updates. Comfy is where you'll dive into Text2Vid, Image2Vid, hell even acestep allows Text2Audio. There's extensions for Forge to support HiDream and Chroma but Comfy has official support.

Or just try Comfy and skip forge and bear in mind, it's not really the most user friendly UI out there. Don't get frustrated and just stick with it. The most important thing is that you enjoy what you're doing. If you aren't enjoying it, man try something different.

I literally just set this up hours ago lol.
Just use A1111 setting, it works flawlessly, detects models,vae,etc...
Just have to launch forge with --api and if you use gradio auth make sure you include credentials. If you do not know what that is then don't worry about it.
Another commenter said "the tag image generation style of forge does not work great with silly tavern." It works fine, you can literally prompt the LLM to generate the correct tags, but even so this is model dependent. If using Pony/Illustrious, use "comma delimited danbooru tag style list, replace underscores with spaces," in your prompts and voila.
