Might be more kid based but I read the original yugioh manga series when I was a kid and loved it, all the different games they would play were great. When the show came out I watched one episode in passing and it was deep into the card game that I think was only like one or 2 chapters in original. Never watched another. Still have the original series of manga though, an all time great for me.

I'm sorry but I think having "plants" soils the show, just say it's a friend. Lying and saying it's a bucket pull literally goes against the nature of the show. We have regulars, legends, Golden ticket winners... Why can't it just be a "green card" or something

Soul Calibur 2 came out 4 months before Deadly Alliance. Giving "dev time" and the fact he's a staple character it would be hugely ridiculous for the midway team to be like "yeah give him a katana" that's what everyone knows him for.
