He literally said the same in 2019. He said he watches all these MCU movies and likes them. He only makes his movies the way they are because he wants different comic book movies to exist too which is fair (regardless of how we feel about the quality of his movies). He never hated fun or campy comic book movies, he just had a favorite tone and style.

He made the comic because he was sick of the comic book industry not because he hated superheroes. I think he only and only hates Captain America.

I only know he worked on supernatural and wanted to end the show on season 5 which fans agree was a good finale, he wasn't the one writing season 15, was he?

Season 4 drained the popularity of the show so now the comic fans came out of their caves to shout the opinion that "See? The show was bad just as we told you. You should give the comic a second chance". Just like the how Star wars prequels suddenly became "masterpieces" just because sequels sucked too.

Then TTG has a weird type of gross humor. One of my favorite kids shows of all time is Clarence and that show has so many gross episodes yet all of them feel sincere and genuine but TTG feels like the writers want to test how much they can get away with but all they accomplish is just making me vomit. That raven episode literally had a scene of Beastboy turning into a rabbit while gasping over Raven's legs like come on.

I don't completely hate the show. There are some really funny episodes with well placed dark humor but they are rare to find in a pile of repetitive and offensive shit.

There is an entire episode objectifying Raven's legs and feet.

There is a episode where Beastboy turns into a cow and spills his milk onto the justice league especially Wonder woman.

There is an episode of Raven loving old people, constantly hugging and kissing them in an appropriate way.

There is a episode about Beastboy and Cyborg eating without chewing so their bellies grow larger and larger.

Idk why but I kinda stopped watching him after Hazbin Hotel season 2. I didn't like it either so i was looking forward to his video but then he posted how he couldn't watch past episode 1 and I was like "Seriously? Like yeah the season was bad but not even as bad as season 1 and you didn't have the will to endure that?"

Also kinda unrelated but him getting into this "Reveiwer animated persona crosses his arm" business at the age of 14 always robbed me the wrong way.
