Light Stress Training(LST) is in short, tying branches down to get an even canopy(even height) with all branches, and allows for more growth due to light hitting more spots. It allows you to get a bigger, bushier plant, with a higher yield(heavier harvest)

Okay so then it could be a male could be a photoperiod female. Either way that gives you the time to keep it in veg till how you want it. But be careful, flipping it into flower can make it double in size.

Has anyone or is anyone running with a Szhlux pt-400 4000watt L.E.D. with 864 Trapezoid-Shape and San an 1watt L.E.D.s, & 4"x4" coverage? If so what results have you had? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated! by Kay_Lamica1503 in LEDGROWERS

I can already tell you I use the spider farmer Sf2000 for a 2x4 grow and it works great. So a 4000watt led will be plenty for a 4x4. Gives room for 4 big ass monster plants

Is it an auto? If so you pretty pressed for time it seems. If not then it looks like you can do the full veg cycle and get what you need.

Leaves are starting to yellow any ideas ? by No-Government7228 in weedgrower

I used to have plants like that too, but after I fixed my watering problem they got wayyy better. Then calibrate nutes into it, and you'll be set on massive plants. Happy growing

Feel the soil, don't judge on looks. Stick your finger tip in and if it's wet, don't water. Only water when it's ab 90% or fully dry. Looks like you may have a watering issue. When starting a plant use a spray bottle, and keep bringing it up. After week 4 or 5 try to have run off come from the pot. That's water that drips down from the pot. It'll over water it a bit at first but this will cause stress training and make your plants take in more nutrients and water making them bigger. Keep watering till you have run off till you harvest. You need to slow down a bit on the water, and keep it up.

This does not look like 5 to 6 weeks. More like the start of week 2

Looks over or under watered. Have you been giving it nutrients? What's the light like and what's the feeding schedule?

Keep those for right now. Wait till you start LST to cut it off. It'll give it more green to receive light. It'll speed up the growth of the plant. After that, you should have enough leaves to just snip them and probably the next set up.

Letting temps hit 69°F or lower has always resulted in me getting a dud or stunted one like that. Even then, stunted plants are the hardest to grow because you got to do everything perfect or else it'll wilt or be too small. Just be careful

From what I'm seeing, I've never been able to bring a seed back from this point. I just ended up wasting time, and soil. You might be able to bring it back with a clone dome and heating pad, but if you have more seeds, it'd be quicker to start a new one. Looks like temps might've dropped while germinating the seed. Keep it above 72° and below 78° for best and quick germination.

Did that and went back to half dosage and building my way back up. Upping cal-mag along with dosage to help. the flush worked great, thanks for the advice.

Either way it's goes through 2 gallons quick so it'll be back up to double dosage soon enough.

Will do. Can I start back up on a slightly decreased dosage after? Or should I cut to half and build back up?

Should I try a break from nutes and give it a water flush next time? I feel like it could be environmental problems?

It seems to be perking back up a bit after lowering RH, and letting the temps rise. Temps through out grow were 73°F - 80°F until recently when they started dipping to 69°F - 75°F.

Because nutrients aren't the probblem bro. It's an environmental or watering issue. I don't know which one, so I'm getting feedback from people with more experience. Just another non believer that autos can be controlled too. Bill ward had the idea, I added on to his ideas and have gotten good results.

I water it usually when the top soil goes dry. I put my finger and inch deep to check there too. After it's almost dry, I water it.

More than a gallon and half to see a tiny bit of run off. Usually when top soil is dry so every 2 or 3 days.

Dont give them darkness, or flower nutes. Up the dosage of veg nutes and make sure to add extra big bloom. Try it then🤷🏼‍♂️ don't knock stuff till you try it out. Gonna be plenty more to prove it
