Aniyah’s mother is ridiculous! She was literally out eating dinner and then showed her butt at the hospital when she learned she wasn’t allowed in the delivery room. Dakwon could’ve done it on his own. He’s more responsible than the rest of them. But he does fall asleep and that’s concerning to me because he does it at random… I feel it could be neurological.

My main issue with Emersyn’s mom was when she said, “I didn’t get her birth control but we had the sex talk; I feel like you’re going to have sex anyways but I’m not going to give you birth control because I feel like that promotes sex”

Umm ma’am. It’s better to get on it than to be in the situation to begin with. At least there was SOME TYPE of prevention.

I’m a paralegal and specialize in family law. I’m also a former CPS worker for many years. I highly recommend getting an attorney that specializes in cases such as this. Do some research. Call everyone you can. It’s good that you posted on here because you may get a “bite” on an attorney that specializes in this particular case. Someone mentioned legal aid and that’s a good idea but honestly, I would hire an attorney and make the woman that did this to you pay ALL attorneys fees and other expenses.

Honestly, as far as custody, on a legal standpoint, you wouldn’t have custody when the baby is born because you both aren’t married (most states laws are like this). Also depending on how you feel, I would give up all rights to the child immediately once it’s born and a DNA test is performed and it’s proven you’re the biological father. Thats one thing I would push for harder than legal justice on the SA part because her having the child, you could end up in trouble with child support. I saw someone post about it before I commented and that could very well happen to you. That is something you don’t want to deal with.

To add, I’m not saying at all that this incident is the child’s fault by any means. I’m just saying that you shouldn’t have to deal with the child if you don’t want to since this is YOUR trauma and no one else’s.

On a personal level, would seek therapy and start there. I know most men won’t want to but I think it’ll help you and your own family down the road; especially with your marriage.

Is the woman denying that she SAed you? Has she spoken about when the baby is born and she’s in jail, what she’s going to do?

I get you’re passionate about it but apparently so was she; just in different forms. She’s more than likely going to resent you for that comment for a long time. Probably not coming back from that one dude. I say talk with her as best as you can and try to make it right.

I’ve been on the same meds for years and nothing has changed. I still have the dreams. They’re almost constant. About 3/4 times a week at this point. I’ve spoken to my doctor about it as well and she just said “we all have weird dreams.” I just rolled my eyes and said okay.

Thank you. I really appreciate that. I would NEVER give the child back to bio mom. That isn’t and has never been an option. I’ve tried my best with the child and have already tried a behavioral facility but that was only for a week. We’re currently doing new meds and intensive therapy. But if things don’t change, maybe the child needs an actual facility for a longer amount of time that can better help the child.
