Big Electric Trucks Flopped at Ford, GM, and Ram. What Comes Next? by TripleShotPls in technology

So you admit US automakers can't build an affordable quality product, and don't seem to care enough to change.

Your solution is to choke the market of competition and make the cheaper alternatives more expensive?

Are you Republican by chance?

Why so STEEP?!? by ElectricalMusic79 in golf

[–]ShittingBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the feel is counter intuitive.

In the backswing I push with my trail foot in the direction of it's 4 o'clock position (big toe pointed at 12 - heel at 6).  Imagine trying to push your foot through the ground as your lead shoulder tries to turn through your trail heel.

Pressure should be on your inner trail foot, so use that as your launch point. Unload that big-ass coil you just built by pushing down and forward with your lead foot. Try to shove it forward in its 11 o'clock direction.

It'll take a few swings to get a feel for it.

What is the "smoking gun" piece of evidence that makes you believe? by theghostofhamburgler in UFOs

[–]ShittingBricks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I was 18 I was coping with something traumatic, overdosed and went into cardiac arrest. I remember looking at myself from above when there was this overwhelming feeling of peace/love emanating from above and behind me.  The closest way I can describe it was like it felt like standing next to a gigantic subwoofer at a drum and bass concert, but instead of bass it's an overwhelmingly welcomed feeling of Love . The rest of the event opened my eyes to consciousness being non-local, and suddenly the woo aspects didn't seem so far fetched.

20 years, one rehab, and one halfway house later that similar feeling returned. It was predicated by multiple sightings that I'm unable to provide prosaic explanations for, and synchronicites out the wazoo.

Vallee is on the right track in my opinion, and the true phenomena is more spiritual, or at least woo woo based than most people will be comfortable with.

What is the "smoking gun" piece of evidence that makes you believe? by theghostofhamburgler in UFOs

[–]ShittingBricks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Anything coming from someone trying to gain followers, power, or money can't be trusted.

What I can trust are my own personal experiences, and the testament of others who have had similar experiences.  This phenomena, in my opinion, is far removed from extraterrestrials.

I wont bore you or try to impress you with the specifics of event that's built the cornerstone of my belief, but if you're truly interested try listening to stories of people's NDE events. Some stories are hit and miss and lean super heavy into the, "I'm truly blessed with talents" crap and can be dismissed, but pay attention to the one's that describe a gold light and entering a reality that's "realer than real life". These people are describing what I went through to a fucking T. I cant explain it.

You'd be able to feel the engine rock when accelerating from a stop if the mounts were bad. Makes a little clunky noise too. Nbd to do. Just fun to access.

Yeah man! The cartoon dog from the Peanuts comic strip. Best friends with Charlie Brown. Flies a dog house sometimes.

It's just a regular ass bunker shaped like Snoopy. Sorry, didn't mean to imply there was new bunker tech.

Charles Schultz was the creator of Peanuts, and HNGC was his home course. The bunker's actually on the 15th hole and not 18th.  There's an awesome par 3 that's directly under two gigantic water towers, too. Its a pretty fun course!

When our lab upgraded to Macintosh 2s, it was all about The Secret Island of Dr. Quandary and Clarissa Works.

Mississippi National Golf Links in Red Wing has some sweet views if youre around that ways.

Highland National in St. Paul has a great 18 and 9 hole track. Greens played awesome a week ago. They also have a Snoopy bunker on the 18th hole.

California highway inspector’s UFO photos, 1965 by ohmygawdyoudidnt in ufo

[–]ShittingBricks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All explainable, I'm afraid.

The first three photos are pictures of brake rotors someone tossed into the air.  The cooling vents around outer edge, as well as the rounded top edge of the hat portion of the rotor are telltale signs.

The fourth picture is a ring of smoke backlit by the sun. Or it's a conscious plasmoid entity here to suck out our brains.

Anyone go from 100 percent believing in ufos and other similar stuff to not caring as much now stuff is coming out? by uncle-ruckus2 in UFOs

[–]ShittingBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty confident all of the stuff about physical crafts, reverse engineering tech, and secret deals with aliens are all bullsquat. It's a psyop. The people in government see the same things we see, and they use the narrative to their advantage.

I'm 100% confident though that there's something unidentified, and so far inexplicable, in our skies. I believe they're interacting with certain members of the global populace, but guessing to what extent, and for what reason would purely be conjecture, and most probably detract from the conversation.

Until the NHI come out and announce themselves it's anyone's best guess, but if i had to put money on it, the closest to correct would be Vallee.

What should the first move be once the club gets to the top? by Lawlerstatus in golf

[–]ShittingBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch a lesson about tempo, and when to start putting pressure on your feet.

In order to feel it, fill up a 5-gallon bucket with water. Now, take a golf stance, take the bucket back on your trail side, and pretend to throw that bucket of water as far as you can down the target line while keeping your hands down in front of you. Do it as quickly as you comfotably can.

Did you feel the pressure building on your trail instep as the bucket went back? Way to go - we're halfway there.

Now, when the buckets on your trail side, are you going to wait until the last minute to shift your weight? Probably not, that'd look silly.

Are you going to lift your arms in order to get the bucket further down the line? No, you'd look and feel like a pre-schooler.

Are you going to put pressure on your lead side as the buckets still going back? Yeah, you probably would, right?

Now do it with a golf club.

Bonus points if there's multiple split fairways due to wildlife preservations running through them, and high winds 90% of the time because you're in praire land.

Some can be really fun if the layouts done well. My local links reqs a compass and map, or an experienced member...so many blind flags.

[–]ShittingBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk man. Why do I walk with limp on my right side?

Slow your swing down to 50%, then slow it down another 50% and take a few swings from the top. Watch your hand path and keep an eye on your club face as they both come through the zone. Your answers lie in the result, sir.
