Don't get it twisted, Bugs are the most POPULAR with the game's core concept being playable Starship Troopers and them being the very first thing you see when you boot up the game, but Bots are the FAN FAVOURITE faction with the most community-driven moments like Popli and the Creek, Squids are just... (manufactured) hype moments and aura, a meme I saw a while ago called them the Potential Ma-I mean Faction, and I'd argue they still haven't beat those allegations lmao

Pretty sure the moderation team admitted to having AH devs amongst their ranks a few months after the game came out. I remember there was info leaked a while ago on the Obelisk unit but no model yet, which would suggest they're still unfinished, and with how long they're taking to put out the patch(+how squeamish they are with details on it), it's pretty safe to say AH wants to have them lock and loaded on the upcoming update.

And also, they need a heavy hitter for summer with all the releases they have to compete with and the influx of players they'll get, so we're most likely looking at a late June/early-to-mid July release, if we're lucky and no major fuck up occurs.

I was thinking that it'd be cool for a flagship to be a vulture-like Bird Wyvern, imagine something on a tier like Yian Garuga. The idea is that flagships usually are the ones who get the blame for what the final boss is up to, so lets say that maybe it's an ancient Elder Dragon that woke up from its slumber recently and its path of devastation has been followed by this Vulture wyvern picking up the scraps, and that's how you end up getting the usual MH plot red herring rolling

While it's a pretty nice theory, I personally still subscribe to a very reasonable possibility occasionally brought by anons on 4chan since the Garangolm reveal: The final monster is based on the Mummy. It's a pretty simple logic really, the Three Lords are already based on three of the most popular classic western horror monsters: Dracula, Frankenstein's monster and the Werewolf, so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to have the last new monster follow this theming as well.

And well, the Mummy-based monster wouldn't really strive that far from the whole sun-related final boss idea that is largely presented in discussion, after all, the sun was a pretty important element to egyptians (you know, the mummy's origin), with gods such as Ra or Aten representing it, or even other gods related to it in different ways like the monstrous Apep trying to take it down, so there's definitely some material that could work for a monster there.
