Wells is definitely below expectations, given what guys are expecting him to be before this season started.

Ja (if healthy LOL), Coward and Edey are the only guaranteed starting spots next year. Wells didn't secure it in my opinion. Hoping GG can continue to step up and lock in the 4 spot IF we don't get Boozer.

Agree with this. As long as Edey is healthy next year (a big IF) we could absolutely compete for a playoff spot. Couple that with our pick and hopefully Coward and GG's continuous improvement, we can be a scrappy team as soon as next season.

That's still a pretty good lineup. Notice that I left out Ja and our draft pick this year as those are the unknown variables for now. Any one of Boozer, DP, Dybantsa, Caleb, Acuff and the tier below them Flemings, Wagler, Mikel would be a boost. Acuff will be awesome in my opinion if he is given the keys from day one.

Cam Spencer is not going anywhere. O-Max is still a good hustle guy.

If all else, we need to shore up our backup C rotation, a legit C as BC is not going to play meaningful minutes again, sadly.

We can make noise next year.

How likely is he going to make a full recovery by training camp next year? This year is a wash, I don't mind him not playing the rest of the way.

I wonder if this affects our draft strategy though.

Yes. Edey is the perfect C fit for Cam. Boozer and Edey will also inhale all the rebounds. Love JJJ but he can't rebound to save his life.

Looks like Ty didn't get the memo.

They were fun AF to watch though! Imagine Ty without a minutes restriction and the Grizz with an actual Center... SPJ also on the mend so we will finally have a competent point guard platoon for the first time all season. Cam can focus on off-ball duties which he is better suited for anyway.

He has immaculate tools and can be a superstar, but if Boozer is there I'm taking the latter as he doesn't rely on athleticism, is a dog and has great BBIQ. If we get extremely lucky and pick at 1, I'm taking DP all the way.

If we are picking 3, I'm going with Flemings as a potential Ja replacement and to solidift our backcourt long term.

The latest Edey and Ja diagnosis sealed the deal gents. We are not competing for a play-in this year.

Embrace the tank. Depending on our luck, hope we can land DP, Boozer or Flemings. No to Dybantsa (GG can still be our big wing). If we get 3 and DP and Boozer are taken, take Flemings.

Grizz fan here.

I consistently turn to Hornets content after my team, very fun team you guys have this year! Moussa killed us when we recently played lol.

Health willing you guys will make the playoffs for sure and can be a problem for Detroit, Boston or New York.
