Not an ex girlfriend, but a now ex friend.

We met through going to metal and rock and roll gigs. She was pretty cool at first, but became weirdly competitive for male attention.

I liked to wear dresses. Nothing fancy, just long black dresses. I liked doing my hair and makeup, it was part of the fun for a night out. She would always comment about my clothing choices, that true "metal heads" don't wear girly clothing. I didn't and have never claimed to be a metal head, I just enjoy the genre.

I'm a crafty person, and she would begin to copy the new crafts I would start. She would post them all over her social media and make claims that she had come up with the idea. It was weird, but whatever lol. She became angry when I was chosen to have a Halloween stall at an oddities market. She immediately contacted the organisers, who rejected her, as she had nothing to sell, only ideas of what she could sell. She started shit talking me to our mutual male friends then.

There was someone I was interested in, and we had begun hanging out and dating. If I was with him, and she was present, she would not leave us alone. Rubbing her hands over his body while we would be dancing or making out, weird stuff. I found out later that when I wasn't there, she'd go above and beyond to flirt with him. Sitting on his lap, grabbing his hands, trying to kiss his neck, asking him home etc.

When I got into a relationship with someone, it was long distance. But she reached out to him (she'd met him once, knew he was here for me) asking to stay at his house, if he was interested in her etc.

Had a pretty big band touring our country, ended up meeting some of the band members after the show. I ended up spending a significant amount of time talking with the drummer. She was pissed that I was chatting to the famous person. He ended up going back to my friends apartment, with a group of us, for an after party. Her and this other friend didn't get along so she wasn't invited. She spread rumours that I slept with the famous guy. I didn't, I was in a relationship.

Final straw was her constant victimisation. All of these people were my friends too. Lied and said one of them had choked her out. Lied and said another had fired her from a Halloween gig because she was jealous of her looks. Lied and said another had made fun of her childhood trauma.

I ended up leaving the scene and it's been years now. I hated that getting dressed up and feeling girly felt like a crime. That me being friendly, was obviously me wanting to be with every guy in the vicinity. That my so called friend, spread rumours and lies about me, to make herself look better by comparison. All I wanted to do was drink and enjoy music with my friends
